OH GOD NO!!! The one place where I'd last expect furries. I mean I had fears about GW2, what's with players being able to play as Charr and Asura, they could potentially make furry characters, but why must they do so in GW1 as well??
Rawr Also, I'm surprised they haven't done anything that resembles a candy corn.
im downloading this again now, what profession should i get
Wammo. :pseudo:
If you have access to Nightfall and Factions, I suggest Paragon. Imbagons are quite popular. Other than that, Assassin will get you everywhere In other news, I finally found a use for all the green weapons I had, but never used. I put them on the heroes of my main character. Now all of my heroes except for the Paragons and Dervishes have a green weapon, or a fully upgraded, perfect custom weapon. I even got to give them different sets, so now Zhed is my water ele, and Vekk is my fire ele. I still have some extra, so if anyone needs mesmer weapons, I have several of those.
any high levels wanna help me w/ the prophecies halloween quests? Derp Ieatdurcookie.
A little late, don't you think?
they'll last until nov. 2, so nah
I laughed when they announced the headgear. But now I really want the costumes. They look badass.
This year's Halloween hats are so meh.
back in my day, we got pumpkin crowns for halloween. not some faggot ears
oh. :frown:
In all seriousness if you want to play with someone just leave a message here and if someone wants to do the same thing they can get in touch with you. I'm generally up for helping push people through endgame content, as Newbienice can attest to. I'm also up for crap like running through ruins of morah or a time for heroes because gimmicky crap works better than standard play there and a lot of people just don't have the equipment or patience to set up to do them quickly. In other news, this years hats receive a resounding meh from me. The ears are by and large stupid or pointless unless you're into the catgirl/furry stuff, neither of which I am, and the goggles have clipping issues with nearly everything. My female assassin has the headband hair so it kind of looks like it's a full strap of leather/cloth around the head, but other than that they don't work too well. I was there for the first madking appearance and less than 10 minutes after he left there was already people shouting fursecution in chat. Hardly enraging considering that I really just don't care about that stuff overly much and the miscellaneous nonsense I've seen over time puts the stupidity I saw there to shame, but there are either some very subtle trolls, or some real nutters playing this game. I never see them in hard mode clears anyways, so I just don't care either way
OH GOD NO!!! The one place where I'd last expect furries. I see no reason to get worked up about it. The people who spend all their time cybering practically never leave the starting areas of the game, and the charr aren't exactly sexualized in general. I'd be more worried about the sylvari as far as sexualized non humans goes. Exibit a: Female charr render. I'm not the best judge of fap material, but this doesn't seem to have the necessary elements as I understand them. Some people are going to like the ears, and I personally don't care. Let them. As long as people don't start spamming nonsense related to catgirls or other crap because of them, there is nothing wrong with the ears. As I mentioned before, the immature and vocal nutters are usually terrible at the game so you rarely have to deal with them. The people who are actually decent aren't generally going to be starting flame wars about it. A shame that the bad apples in the basket give everyone else a bad name, and this applies to everything, but that's another thread.
*truth-like stuff*
You really enjoy your walls 'o text don't you? Kudos for putting in an effort, nice to see it for a change.
I agree on the meh-ness of halloween hats. Also, Zephyrs, do you think Sorrow's Furnace is H/Hable, or should I try to put together a group?
what is H/H and the ears rule!!11 (I prefer the goggles really. lol)
H/H is heroes and henchmen. Sorrows furnace can be by and large done doing that, but it does require a split during one of the quests. I haven't actually done that whole quest line with my dervish oddly enough. I'd be up for ripping through it on the weekend if you want.
Alright, I'll work through the quests for each of the dwarves/people going into the dungeon
i made a warrior name forevar alone if you want to add me
When GW2 goes live, and most of the GW1 people switch, just leave GW1 running, with your character in the center of a district.
why
They should make Prophecies free to play.
why
Maybe your name.
Maybe your name.
oh, i get it ha
All I do is subtle jokes?
Yeah Zephyrs, I think the ones that require two people are Orozar (you need two people to carry objects and keep up with orozar) and Alkar (somebody needs to defend him, or it might be possible with henchmen and flagging.
I'm so poor. I have 5k on my account. Never mind though, no idea what I would buy with all the money.
Enemy group of 3 healers and 2 damage dealers. 4 of them have hard resurrect spells. Extreme anger followed
Interrupts are your friend.
Enemy group of 3 healers and 2 damage dealers. 4 of them have hard resurrect spells. Extreme anger followed
Where? I don't recall anything except the priests of sorrow in sorrows furnace having hard resurrection.
Interrupts are your friend.
The priests in SF have a monster skill resurrect. It has an 8 second cast time and no recharge. They also have the normal skill resurrect, and will always prioritize the casting of the monster one. Unless you disable it they just keep casting it meaning you can lay into them while they can't heal.
Oh, I was doing a War In Kryta mission. The only things I haven't done for Sorrow's Furnace are Orozar's (needs me to carry two things and defend him) and Alkar's (needs me to defend him and go collect things)
