They said it would be playable after Guild Wars 2 was released, but I'm guessing that since the GW1 population will go down to like 10% after a month or two, they will shut them down.
Ok, Well, since I play GW and wanting to find somewhat a active guild, heres my info.

I really want to get back into GW, and I'd like to make a new character. I only have Prophecies, though. Kinda sucks. It's been two years or so since I really played and progressed in the story. Got to a snowy place and just said fuck it cause it was so impossibly hard.

"Snowy place" can mean 2 areas in prohecies, the northern shiverpeaks (low level area) Or the southern shiverpeaks (High level), while they're both a decent increase in difficulty, they're not hard by any standards.
Then again, after 5.000 hours nothing in guildwars is hard anymore.

That. And I had a retarded build at the time because I didn't really pay much attention to anything other than "sword mastery is cool cause I mean I use swords so I should just put points in this". And I was trying to do it with one other person and a bunch of henchmen. Also War/Mo was probably a bad idea.
I remember the campaign in Prophecies was awesome, though. Like you get to fight your doppleganger and become the big man afterward.
Prophecies is still my favorite campaign, and I'll be getting 100% on it again once the 7 hero update launches (Due to the god-awful henchman in 6 man areas in HM)

I might start playing again. I quit and uninstalled about a year or so ago now.
It's active depending on what you're doing.
For the zaishen dailies there's tons of people, DoA has plenty, ToA has plenty, Major trade cities have plenty, but for the rest it's spread thin.

Thankfully I didn't have that problem, I even remember the first 5 names/chars I ever made, back in '05. And that's on my banned account.
I know 2 of them are related to 'Rage' but I can't think exactly what, and the others are random names which I came up with on the spot.

I'm sort-of actively playing again, but mostly waiting for the 7 heroes update.
I -am- in the middle of finishing DoA though, PuG's there aren't as stupid as I'd have imagined.
I've got a lvl 10 prophecies mo/N stuck in yak's bend, I wouldn't mind getting together doing prophecies some time. (Fine with starting completely fresh as well.)
I only have Prophecies, never actually played through the entire campaign though. So I'd love to get together and do it.
I usually did PvP. But I'm currently playing a level 7 Ele/N and a level 8 R/Mo. I'd prefer to start a fresh though because I've not played in so long so I've lost track of where I am storywise.
I wouldn't mind starting fresh in prophecies and team up with someone
Rage, check your existing characters for birthday presents. If you're not interested in minipets, you can probably sell them for a LOT of money, if they're rare. Most of the 1st Bday ones are kinda cheap (except the very rare ones, like the mini bone dragon), even undedicated, but around 3rd onwards they're all guarenteed to be worth something. Just a tip for if you're short on cash.
If you guys are actually interested, send me a Steam Friends request, storywise I'm level 20 but I'll be running through the original Ascalon missions and everything so it shouldn't matter.
Yeah I did when I first logged. Can't rememeber exactly what I got now, but I'll check the price and sell if it's worth a decent amount.

I'd join that. Dunno that I'd manage to get myself through all four, but I could probably do one or two with you.
Starting to work on legendary vanquisher/explorer again, Made a .txt file with all the 103 zones I still need to do, then I let a RNG pick what zone I do.
I'll join in, but I only have Prophecies.
