That commando mission is fucking awesome, never thought I would be trowing grenades and teargas in gw!
I love how amazingly out of place the whole thing is.
Good show, NCSoft.

Not NCSoft... Arenanet!
Same thing really.
Same thing really.
Big difference.
How so? They're part of NCsoft.
How so? They're part of NCsoft.
NCsoft give them the money to create the game, Arenanet is the brain, so NCsoft has nothing to do with the April fools pranks.
I wouldn't concern myself with such trivia matters...

Wrong? There's nothing wrong about ArenaNet and NCsoft.
I love double green drop rates. I've picked up so many uniques today.
Within 2 days I got Survivor title, ranked up Vanguard from 0 to 7, finished Norn and Vanguard storyline, and crafted Monument armor.
Still need about 103k points to max Vanguard, but I ain't gonna do Annihilators for another 52 times.
Leveling my level 5 with the april fools quest
The quest actually lets you map a few corners that cannot be mapped otherwise. This is handy if you are struggling with cart in proph, although prophecies is really really easy to map anyways.
Good news, I finally got armor and the proper equipment so I can go water ele.
Bad news, I have no water staff, for which I would need the staff, a wrapping of fortitude, and hale staff head. That and I am down 8 k, so now I only have 499 gold in total. Not including what I can sell from my surplus in crafting materials.
But I can go water ele. :smug:

If you are this low on money forget the mods for now. You only need perfect equipment if you are doing high end stuff or pvp. I might have a green water staff somewhere, and if I do you are certainly welcome to it. I'll certainly never use the stupid thing. My ele has earth and energy storage equipment. I don't need anything else. I only E/mo or terra on it.
EDIT: I don't have a spare water magic weapon, must have merched it a while back. However, I do have a spare Droknar's Energy Storage staff. 15 energy +30 hp if you want it.

The thing is, I lose 39 health without my fire staff. I have a water staff, but it would be nice to keep the health. I am not looking for perfect mods, and by no way am I going to try and trade for them. I just would like to keep things similar as far as health and energy between my fire and water ele seeing as they are used in a similar way. The energy storage staff is however a very interesting offer. I would take it if you wish to trade for crafting mats.
If OP wants to add if he is still around
GeneralOmega - GeneralOmega1 - Ms Omnom, 20, E/Mo (in factions)
You can also always use the /bonus command for some free max items. They aren't anything amazing, but they are decent starting equipment.
As far as payment... I really don't care. It's taking up space. It costs a droknar's key which is about 10k, but the staff itself is worthless. The only reason people use droknar's keys is for the 40/40 sets.

I know this ain't the point of your post, but... aura of restoration AND Elemental Lord? Seems kinda redundant... I mean sure you get slightly better survivability and stuff, but I generally do fine sacrificing aura for a damage skill. Also fire storm isn't particularly useful compared to some of the others, but that's probably just personal opinion. My fire build is awesome. I refuse to share it with anyone :3:
I was digging around on my guru account and stumbled across this thread that I had made a note of. The real information picks up around the end of page 2 and throughout page 3. That ebon bow with a mere +13% mod on page 4 got up to 1600 ectos at the auction, and that wasn't even the winning bid.
Just a little bit of history surrounding some stuff that dropped back in the day before a lot of stuff got fixed and updated. Perhaps uninteresting to most, especially the newer players, but fascinating for those interested in what happened in the early days of unlocked chests and pre nerf loot.
Dear fucking god, +1600e.
Finally beat eye of the north.
NEVER AGAIN!

You'll be back
[editline]8th April 2011[/editline]
Finished Urgoz for the first time. Was the backup tank, basically did nothing the entire time except be lovable and adorable.
Went to go put statue in HoM, found out I got to display Eternal Msifortune, and Eternal Kurzicks too.
I hate the destroyers. They are not hard, they are just time consuming and a bitch.
Personally, I think that nightfall and factions is better. It just has a more interesting storyline. Never did nightfall, but I read up on it, and my E/Mo is factions.
Their armor is ludicrous, but they have no defensive abilities, so just simply hit them with armor ignoring damage. SS and such destroys (See what I did there) them in moments. They have no condition removal either so blind and weakness are extremely effective shutdowns.
...factions is better...
The campaign in which any problem except shiro himself can be solved with more minion masters. Whats that? Failing a mission? Add another MM. Seriously. There is no area in factions in which there aren't enough corpses to fuel 3 or more minion masters, and nothing in factions can adequately deal with them, especially bombers. Sure some things can push out AoE damage, especially rit and ele bosses, but you just lob a PI at them and let jagged bones give you another 10 minions to roll with and it explodes in half a second.
The only thing that even hinders MMs in factions is the afflicted monks with Jesus Beam.
It's also stupidly short and requires a faction choice that is just a pain in the ass and prevents you from playing both sides at once and easily, and that's on top of having to keep stupid NPCs alive while they leeroy into mobs and get stuck on chests forcing you to restart the mission because their pathfinding broke.
Heh, reminds me of those Sorrow's Furnace quests. I remember spending 40 minutes on a quest, only to have the AI go and kill himself and I had to start all over again. Why can't you res NPCs?? Darn plot deaths. I never got why [sp]when rurik dies[/sp] nobody rushes in to attempt a res, heh. Plot convenience and cutscenes are powerful things.

This, oh god this. This is the reason I had to do Tahnnakai temple five times. We were fine up untill the final spirit and then suddenly Togo decides to go apeshit insane and rush it. I wanted to yell by the fourth time. Then my friend decided she would rush it before him and we finished it.
Fucking 8 man, how does it work?

We will probably go for a relaxed half hour run in the next couple of days. It's definitely easily doable. I had to help with a ton of extra crap that the main team should have handled and the tactics used in wailing forest didn't turn out too well. Still, not bad for a practice run. Nothing record worthy, but we didn't have enough people online for a full FoW. If we want to actually go for speed we shouldn't even have a 'main team'. Terras can solo FoW, it just takes time.
I find it funny that with all of the fuckups, this is still faster than a lot of PUGs I've been in over time.

If I had a nickel every time I tried to draw on the compass of a video or pan around on screenshots I would not be a wealthy man, but I would be able to live quite comfortably.
