You can do it as soon as you hit level 10 until you do them. You can go to the Eye of the North at level 10, you get a Buff that pumps your Attributes to 9 and your health to a level 20's health level, and as long as you're in the EotN area of the map, you keep that buff until level 20. You can do the main quests whenever you please
Spending all my money on zkeys, halfway there :v: Speaking of which, I have a bunch of stuff I'm trying to sell. So if you're looking for something, maybe I have it. Greens and weapons forsale Upgrades and Tomes for sale (Aptitude not Attitude is sold)
Most of those greens are only worth a couple plat at most. Gorrel's cane isn't even worth the cost the merch will give you. Nobody in their right mind wants a 10/10 wand. People want 20/20s connected to specific attributes or one handed martial weapons of enchanting like spears and swords, and occasionally a 40/20/20 staff. Running multiple attributes? Weapon swap.
I know all of that. I have 0 use for any of these, so if someone wanted to give them to their heroes or something, there you go. I just want them out of my inventory. All of my heroes on all of my important characters already all have greens. I fucking hate getting greens.
I will take any warrior items for free... <3 [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] Only losers self rate : x1 Optimistic
Just got a Q9 Inscribable Chaos axe if anyone has been looking for those. Edit: Neeevermind, it's sold.
43/50 in HoM, so close to my goal of 45 (I don't really like the 50/50 title). Now it's just buying 8 minipets and getting a few titles, or eschew minipets all together and get 2 points from titles (completely possible).
Holy fuck! After six years, this MMO finally gets its own forum https://forum.guildwars.com/forum Well it's a "support forum", but yeah that's useful as hell! I guess they're letting all the other discussion stay on guild wars guru.

I paged through it briefly yesterday. Not a whole heck of a lot of useful stuff yet, but that takes some time to develop I suppose. I give it less than a month before it becomes a shithole of "BUT I WASN'T BOTTING!!! HONEST!!!" and other nonsense without some draconian moderation, in which case a lot of useful people won't contribute because, quite frankly, the people that know the most about the game are generally speaking the people who troll the most. The internet is srs bsns I hear.
what's going on with the facepunch 'guild' right now from the op (I know it's old). i have a level 20 pve character from a long time ago and if i could get on and play with you all i'd do it if you're still playing.
Facepunch guilds will never survive or do well. There aren't enough players to even run a guild that actually does anything, and even if there were there is such a huge discrepancy between player interest, skill, experience, and character progression, that things would never go well. There are people in this thread who literally bought the game 20 minutes before making a post and there are also people who have 5k+ hours in the game. Even granting that people don't hate each other there are simply too many diverse interests for anything to ever happen. Your best bet is to decide what you want and poke around on guru or in game for a guild. Do not be afraid to leave guilds. If you don't like it, don't suffer for it.

It is what it is. The game is in fact dying. The only time pve outposts have more than 2-3 people in them are when they are trade hubs, locations where groups form for speed clears, or Zaishen dailies. Find a good guild that does stuff you want and just enjoy what you can. You will absolutely never find a pug these days that can compete with a properly tuned 7 hero setup for general pve. To be fair though, you never could, but the point is that if you just want to play the game, playing with random people is going to be much worse than playing with NPCs. Heroes are chronically retarded, but at least they are consistently so.
I once stood alone in Droknar's Forge, lamenting the loss of all the inhabitants. Edit: Didn't even recognize you with the new avatar.
I once stood alone in Droknar's Forge, lamenting the loss of all the inhabitants.
That made me legitimately sad. I've done the same thing. First time I got to Droknar's it was a hub of activity... Now, a ghost town.
Droknar's back in 2005. Oh how I miss thee.
:( They still get decorated for the holidays.
Is there a FP guild that is still active? I'm going to start playing to try and unlock some stuff for when GW2 hits, probably more fun to have some people to instance with.
Damned GW won't recognize my password or change it regardless of what i do..

You don't have to read the thread, but read the last page at least.
:( They still get decorated for the holidays.
Which is even more depressing. It's like "Look guys we made our outpost all pretty, come and visit us! :buddy: ...Guys? ...Why won't anyone come here? I'm so lonely :smith:"
I once stood alone in Droknar's Forge, lamenting the loss of all the inhabitants.
I recently visited all the old hot spots from when the game was released like the Henge of Denravi, Amnoon Oasis, Droknar's Forge, etc. I remembered the damn jungle with all its poison monsters, the plot twists, and the amazing landscapes. I remember the minotaur farming and the seeming endlessness of the Crystal Desert. I remember the good old days when you'd have all those runner's from Beacon's Perch trying to outbid each other for Droknar's Forge runs and all those excited mid-teen leveled players scrambling for spots, me being one of them. Then in Droknar's Forge there'd be hundreds of players, most of them clumped around the merchants or trading in the main square. It's sad to see it a ghost town now after seeing its former glory. I wish there was a way to organize hundreds of old Guild Wars players, both retired and current, to just one day all go back to the city hubs to re-experience what it was like in the past. Guild Wars is one of the only games to make me feel any emotion from outside of the plot and gameplay elements. In some ways I grew up with it with most of my teenage years. To see it slowly waste away is sad. But I'm also hopeful for GW2. If Guild Wars could sustain itself for so long even with its instanced system, I'm sure GW2 can last even longer. [editline]22nd June 2011[/editline] Heh I just remembered that after my first character, I would never buy any armor between pre-searing up to Beacon's Perch. I'd just save, slowly collecting platinum from drops, quests, merching items, and the occasional trade. Then I would just splurge after the Droknar's Forge run.
I would buy armour in ascalon and then not buy any more until I got a run to droknars. And I'd use the money i had in storage from other characters to pay for it. Still did that, in fact, with my warrior that I made earlier this year... or late last year, don't remember. Actually I think she's over a year old. I don't play enough.
hit 30 HoM points by buying this Elite Canthan. Expensive, totally worth it. It looks awesome.
I need 1 point for 45. Anybody want to donate obsidian armor? :v: Didn't think so, I'll go grind titles.
I need 1 point for 45. Anybody want to donate obsidian armor? :v: Didn't think so, I'll go grind titles.
Obby is surprisingly easy to come by when you run FoW over and over. Doing that for my Survivor title :v:
When I just bought Guild Wars, I just heard that my friend isn't playing anymore. :( But it will not stop me to play anyway. If someone want to add me ingame, my char name is Mr Tumstock playing the original.
I added you (T i d a l), maybe we can do some missions together or something.
