I made a silly barrage 7h build for fun. It actually did surprisingly well. I went to the Foundry for lulz, and I actually managed to beat it. Only normal mode, but still. I was surprised. I'm still kind of a noob at making synergistic builds, and everyone always says rangers suck, so I wasn't expecting much. I quite liked having a build with 0 minions and only 1 spirit.
There's a team build on gwpvx called something like 7 hero player support or something along those lines that I helped contribute to a little bit. You can fine tune some stuff in it depending on the area but if you run razah as the mesmer and bring a utility necro as your 7th you can semi afk vanquish 90% of the game. Alternatively you can add a merc and bring a razah clone for 4 mesmers. Saying that you can steamroll general pve is a gross understatement. With the 7 hero update you can actually afford party space to pack nukes instead of having to bring lots of utility to make up for the shortcomings of heroes. Mesmers have plenty of them and skills like mistrust and cry double as nukes and prevent harmful effects from going off. Add on a few necros with hybrid utility and roll.
I'm broke again, I need to make money. I don't know jack about farming. Any quick guide out there?
12 points in three days. I am pleased. 3 to go.
must.. revive..thread!
I wish they would hurry up with the next part of WiK. It is taking forever. Also, I hear they're looking into updating the Elementalist next and some changes to Hard Mode. Should be interesting. Hopefully it is a change to Armor levels so Rangers/Eles/etc can pull out of the HM ditch they're in. (Info from a panel at PAX, apparently.)

Just got to 30. Bye bye GW, until next time. When I might take on the impossible task of getting to 50, in a few years or so.

Is the FP guild still going on or did it kinda die off? Also is there like a casual PvP? One that isn't GvG? I would kinda like to try pvp out but would probably just get slaughtered any tips would be nice.
Is the FP guild still going on or did it kinda die off?
From a few pages back.
Facepunch guilds will never survive or do well. There aren't enough players to even run a guild that actually does anything, and even if there were there is such a huge discrepancy between player interest, skill, experience, and character progression, that things would never go well. There are people in this thread who literally bought the game 20 minutes before making a post and there are also people who have 5k+ hours in the game. Even granting that people don't hate each other there are simply too many diverse interests for anything to ever happen. Your best bet is to decide what you want and poke around on guru or in game for a guild. Do not be afraid to leave guilds. If you don't like it, don't suffer for it.
Anyone want to buy a Guild Wars account? All games, couple of level 20's with neat armour, (Elite Iceforged Ele, Norn Hunter, can't remember what else) 12 or so points in HoM. £15 paypal, I have car insurance to pay, so I'm selling whatever I don't use ._.
I know a guy who wants to buy one. Shall I give him your email address?
Sure :)
Do be careful. If anyone knows the character information for your account, they can get it permabanned for this. Arenanet heavily frowns on this sort of behavior. Keep it quiet as much as possible, or take it to the QQ forums.
It sucks, but I have no wish to continue playing now I have 30/30. I will come back to get more titles someday, maybe...
I probably have like 5 hours of stuff to do until 45/50, but I get distracted by other things and forget.
I only have 15/30 Anyone who has hit 30/30 want to throw some stuff my way? I would greatly appreciate it. http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=main&details=AYAAAAAAAkCAAAAAAggAAIAAAAAAAAAAQKUAAAAAAAA
Just work on bumping one chars titles. Protector and Guardian combined with skill hunter and exploration yields 15 honor statues, which you have almost none of. Get hero armors. Get a green mini. Complete some 'elite' areas. All of them have their own statue. You don't need to touch hard mode (sans guardian) or buy stuff. Simply beating the campaigns gives you more statues too. Actually, it doesn't look like you have even beaten anything other than prophecies, or at least you haven't dedicated stuff indicating otherwise. 30 is a cakewalk if you put some thought into it. Simply work towards breakpoints that give you 2 or 3 points on any given statue, and only after that do they typically get hard, expensive or time consuming. You'll get into the 20s just by beating all the campaigns and getting guardian while grabbing a few hero armors on the way. Not to brag, but I got 50 ages ago. It wasn't difficult. It was simply time consuming. Crap like legendary vanquisher is exceedingly time consuming. However, it's completely unnecessary if your goal is 30.
Been slowly working on Vanquishing lately, but I'm starting to get burnt out on it. It gets old.
I enjoyed Vanquishing a lot. My first Three Legendary vanquishers Now on my third account It does feel a bit stale, though with the immense power creep you can VQ most areas in 20-30 min anyway.
I'm only on 8. :(
I'm on three.
Anyone want to make a new account or do something? I can never find any other players to play with anymore

It got stale, and I really hate playing with just NPCs. Thanks for the advice, though. It's much appreciated.
To be fair the power creep of skills isn't so much of a contributing factor as opposed to having a full 7 hero party. Henchmen don't have hybrid builds, and lack many utility effects, and most don't even do appreciable damage. Generally their skill pools suck, even with the update. Properly organized teams are much more efficient. (Who'd have thought?)
My problem with the campaigns is that I've already beat them on another account. They are by and large cosmetic effects designed towards completionists and people who have played the original game a ton. Why would you do something you didn't enjoy, outside of dealing with something for a little bit to get more fun later?

Installing Factions for shits and giggles, I found it in the back of my closet. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] Well nevermind it's already in use by an account I made like 6 years ago, and I don't even think I have the email address anymore. Neat
