[QUOTE=Newbienice99;34260588]Nobody ever wants to finish Mallyx the Unyielding/The Ebony Citadel of Mallyx with me, it's all I need[/QUOTE] I tried doing one of the pre-req quests with a team of heroes. I ended up dead after the first or second encounter.
PUG teams form for glaiveway form pretty consistently in American districts. As I've mentioned before it's a very slow and sub optimal way of doing things, but it will get a completion. On an unrelated note, the canthan new year is coming up, and it's the year of the dragon. That means celestial dragon minis.
Just got back into the game from not having played in god knows how long. I just bought Eotn and im a little confused on how to earn points in HoM. I have a level 20 ele/mo (No clue how welll geared or if his builds ne good its been a while XD ). Once i get all the banners or whatever how do I go about earning points?
So, for example, you're going for one of the points in the 'Honor' category, like "Complete Nightfall Campaign." Once you've completed the goal, you go back to the HoM and look at the Honor/Title banner. It will give you an option to add the fact that you've completed Nightfall. Or, adding miniatures by interacting with the miniature banner. Etc etc
Ooo ok i gotchya. Thanks.
I got a run from Camp Rankor to the Granite Citadel, it was free. I insisted on giving the runner 10k but he insisted that I keep it. The player-base isn't dead, in fact there's tons of nice people out there. Also raised my HoM points from 33 to 34 because of that guy. [editline]value[/editline] Now I've hit 35, my ultimate goal!
I remember this game, was my first MMO and I haven't touched in years, is it still worth reinstalling this whole game just to play? I do believe I got all the expansions.
Same here. First real mmo anyways. Runescape dosent count haha. But I would say deffinately worth it (I did lol). Been playn for somewhere in the range of 5 years off and on. But Especially download it if you want to earn some HoM rewards before gw2.
I'm trying to find the motivation to finish some things off in this game, but it's quite dull without anyone else. I used to play a while ago, but all the people I knew and the guild I was in back then have stopped playing. Is there a good guild that's not dedicated just to specific stuff (e.g. AB, GvG, Dungeons etc) that any of you know of? [editline]29th January 2012[/editline] Joining the club: Also my first MMO, and the one my memories are most fond of.
Well I finally beat Shiro in nightfall. Avoided it it until I had heroes with stance removal. I also ended up taking 4 punishment skills. He was pretty much non-existent after he used Impossible Odds.

Just glitch the shrines, wall block the lich, and overpull shiro. He only pulls so far and all you have to do is lock your heroes back behind that and then move back and forth yourself to keep him from breaking. If you get lucky you can get him to step beyond his pull range with the riposte shadow skill and then body block him. If you don't body block him he just runs around a lot, and if you do he doesn't even attack.

Even if you don't block shiro, just pulling him out until he breaks makes it a total joke.

False. If you do it correctly, he doesn't attack you. He just runs back and forth. If you body block him beyond the aggro range, which isn't really easy with heroes, he will just stand there and only use impossible odds. He may use his stances, but he never attacks. If you want, I can show it to you.
AH, I misunderstood you. I play with heros and hench.
29 minute duo FoW. The run was a large combination of catastrophes, mainly dealing with forge, and the griffons at one point all got down to less than 100 health, and all had mark of pain on them. I pulled off the manliest body block of my life to save a griff that had maybe 20 health left from getting pain trained by two shadow warriors. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TPLXW.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/SCARS.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Dh1xx.jpg[/thumb] Forge is going to be a real problem on the push for 25. Maybe one in every ten runs has the spawns needed to get the 12-13 minute defend completion necessary to bring the time down that much. If the shadow beasts on battlefield die, or patrol too far away from forge its just GG right there. EDIT: This happened when we went back to get the chest. I've never seen skeletal mobs pull this far without doing the reset and repull trick. They pulled so far that the auto pathing couldn't put them back out on the battlefield so they just got stuck on the edge in the forge. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/WKl0r.jpg[/thumb]
Last Canthan New Year before GW2! Get out there and have some fun!
I'm going to be looking to pick up a ton of lunars. They will probably be in the 20-25 ecto for a stack range. If people want armbraces I will probably just trade a brace per stack assuming the prices are close enough. Easy HoM points if anyone cares. EDIT: I should add that I am going to be afk on nine rings until Sunday. If you message me, it's fairly unlikely that I will respond. Also I mean lunar fortunes, not tokens. EDIT: The minis pretty neat looking, I've got to admit.

I just beat Winds of Change, exchanged my Requisitions for 5 lockboxes, turns out they're untradable. (I had buyers for over 10e, but then I found out.) That third quest in the 3rd part of WoC, the dialogue you get when you kill the bosses. It's pure gold.

[QUOTE=psychojake;34627657]He even puts on sunglasses for a few seconds.[/QUOTE] Does he? Oh damn I can't believe I missed that if that's the case.
[QUOTE=Miskav;34627672]Does he? Oh damn I can't believe I missed that if that's the case.[/QUOTE] Yeah, it's the shaded spectacles.
Does this make the Cantha zones turn back to normal like the end of WiK did for Kryta? It'd be nice to have the easier vanquishes back.
