I'm just getting annoyed at hitting 30. Was thinking of getting the Zaishen PvP Title for the 3 but that is gonna take a long time to do. Also need to get a couple more armour sets, with luxon being one of them, to get more points but unfortunately, I need money which is taking long to come by.

So if anyone has any advice on how to get money quick or just general HoM tips then it'd be appreciated.

Vanquisher title+Guardian+ Maybe the Eotn titles will already put you close to 30 and that's easy enough to do, getting a destroyer weapon from the materials from your dungeon runs is also +1, then getting a tormented wep either by doing DoA or spending plat for it is another +1.

Of course, getting 2 cheaper armor sets is another +2.

Basically, working on your titles should get you the money/materials for the other things.

Grab a UW farming build. Sprit spamming works well, but it's slow. I don't suggest going for Zaishen unless you're going over 35. Grab a destroyer weapon, do Guardian on the campaigns, that'll get you enough materials/cash. Get 2 cheap prestige armors. If you're really cheap, don't buy the headwear of the prestige armor, you can display armor without the headpiece. Then just do hero armor missions or buy hero armor, and also grab the Phoenix from the end of Factions as well as the Black Widow from the underworld.

Just a note for people asking about "how do I do ____ piece of content?", set yourself up with a decent hero team. A list of currently vetted builds can be found [URL="http://www.gwpvx.com/Category:Great_working_hero_builds"]here.[/URL] The two best general purpose options at the moment are 7 hero player support and surgeway. Obviously minor variations can be made to suite individual playstyles, but they provide strong effects for nearly all areas within the game.

Something else worth mentioning is to buy and use runes, insignias, and weapon sets on your heroes. I'm not saying put a superior vigor rune on every hero you frequently use, but if you plan on playing a character at all seriously, it is worth the 200k investment to get full 40/40 sets, insignia, and attribute runes, as well as minor vigors. The headaches you will save yourself are immense, and the time you will save immeasurable. You don't have to do it all up front, but you really, really should invest in equipment.

Consider it this way. A hero with proper attributes is going to be able to reach some significant breakpoints to increase the effectiveness of skills. A 40/40 set will allow them to use skills FAR more frequently. By not fully equipping your heroes, you are literally reducing the power of your team from 7 people down to 5, and potentially even 4. Yes, equipment makes that big of a difference.

Ahh the Eternal Grove, just as much a pain as it was years ago. Managed to get to the last of the afflicted bosses and then it just all fell apart due to the elementalists smacking the tree singers. Going be trying again soon.

It's been a while, so I don't remeber the exact spawn patterns. Just go turtle hunting and leave a spirit spam guarding the gates on the side you are not on to prevent the odd stray luxon from running in and killing a singer. Once the afflicted start, just lock a hero within range of both gates, and stand in the center so that you are in range of both of of these heroes. The afflicted will aggro onto the edge heroes and then rush into the center.

Easily done with 7 heroes in normal and hard mode. The outer two heroes will die a few times, but it should not be that big of a problem. Make sure you use the juggernauts. Slow as they are, they can absorb a ridiculous amount of damage, and 5 second knockdowns are no joke.

It's going to require a lot of time to grab those titles (and skill). The armor will require a lot of money which I do not have. Completing SF would require a skilled group which I also do not have...

Gee, it's as if they're making the unlocks hard to get. :rolleyes:

Just take it one step at a time. Don't worry about getting 30 and focus on just the next statue instead.
Also, look up good hero builds and don't be afraid to put money into your heroes.

That and farm for ectos.

None of those titles take skill, they can easily be afk'd with hero's just C+spacing to the next group.
The money for the armor you'd get while doing the titles.
SF is so easy you can also just afk it, much like FoW.

Don't get both Elite Luxon and Elite Kurzick armors, they tend to be more expensive than other options, last I checked. Perhaps Elite Canthan or Elite Sunspear.

You could get another point in fellowship pretty easily, and everyone seems to overlook it. Much cheaper than buying a Tormented weapon, at least. Farm for Stolen Sunspear Armor fragments (ridiculously easy) for Acolyte Souske and Acolyte Jin. Get the Imperial Phoenix and level it to 20. Then you have to buy 1 more armor piece of your choice. Would probably save you 100k if not more.

I got to 30 with Oppresor and Destroyer weps only, besides most of what Miskav listed would be time consuming and/or money consuming. I didn't buy Elite Lux or Kurz armor until I decided to go for 40, also I'd avoid Gladiator, Zaishen is the only PvP title worth getting(it costs a lot) Gladiator takes a lot of time.

75k give or take 10 is fairly standard for moas. You can get all of the items needed for the moa by yourself in under three hours though. After that it's just leeching into sorrows furnace with someone who has the final assault active.

Also, buying Tengu Support Flares. One ecto each.
