Went to Lamestop after my haircut today. I talked to the nice lady behind the counter and she pulled up the CE purchase immediately. I was in and out in 2 minutes.
Already registered my account and linked it to my GW1 account. Good day.
Again, I was at a track meet all day yesterday so today was the first chance I got to buy it.

Linking to your GW1 account doesn't do anything specific, does it? Since I have a GW1 Nightfall account. Spent ages getting it back through customer support but I still can't figure out how to change the email and other stuff since there is nowhere to log in with the details except for within the game itself and I don't feel like installing NightFall just for that.

they have not been legit proved yet, so take them how you want

I got my code from Gamestop today. Unfortunately they didn't have a physical pre-purchase copy. Instead, they key was printed on the receipt.

The receipt still says "three days headstart", so I'm hoping that I get the three day headstart like full paying prepurchasers do, instead of the 1 for partial payers.

If it was for the pre-purchaser people we would have at least a week in advance to download the client, and it's also planned for the END of april anyways

I am still very paranoid that Gamestop is going to fuck up, and I won't get my CE. I mean, I paid the money and got the beta code, but I feel like somehow they will manage to screw everything up.
I'll be going to their midnight release party just because I want to be the very first person to get the CE, so they can't run out. Probably show up at like 9, sit in my car until 10 (or the first person starts waiting outside), and then set up a chair and read for 2 hours.

Or, since I will have 3 days head start, play GW2 on my laptop while I wait for it to be released.
