A friend played one during the beta, they're kind of a mixed bag between support and damage. Well I just found out that the stress test tomorrow only lasts from 3pm to 9pm. Makes me feel a little better. I would only be able to play for two hours anyways with my work schedule.

There was no way for me to buy the CE where i live before hand so i just bought the digital version online already and now they're saying you can pre-purchase the CE? Fuuuu

When can we download the client for gw2?

They will email a download link. Do not look for another as apparently it will not be able to be updated so it is worthless.

I just hope they give you the link before the event starts so you dont have to download while the event is going on.

I'm pretty sure they're aware of that so i imagine they'll at least give a week heads up, how big is the game client anyway? anyone got a clue?

So most likely we will get it either tomorrow or after the stress test.

I hope that the amount of tokens rewarded for completion of dungeons or the price for token rewards is changed. From the beta, one completion of Ascalonian Catacombs gives you 5 dungeon tokens. Ghastly Weapons cost 100-200 tokens, right outside the dungeon. It will suck to grind a dungeon or buy tokens to get a really cool glow-in-the-dark weapon. You think they'd let you go without grinding endlessly for super cool shit?

I trust ArenaNet, I hope they don't keep it the same as it was in beta. Going through a dungeon 20 times for 1 piece of loot is just insane. [editline]1[/editline] Not to mention, the pieces of special armor are 25-100 tokens per piece.

Beta wasn't made for the dungeons, only one was open iirc and it was a WIP. I'm fairly certain those were just placeholder rewards, as loot-tables were also bugged/incomplete.
