Anyone thats preordered want to walk me through the process. Just describe what you did and how they contact you or whatever

If you preorder online through GW2 website:
You pay, it instantly brings you to the GW2 account registering and whatnot, and adds you to the beta. It will automatically fill in your beta code for you.
If you buy through a store and get a code, you visit register.guildwars2.com, and put in your code, and continue to make the account through that

About the downloading - they give you a link to the forum, where you can find the downloader and download it before the event. At least I think this is how it will work.

As mentioned before, since you can be in multiple guilds it is possible.

They said there will be a beta this month.

I'm not really big on sources but I've seen it being mentioned several times in this same thread
On Twitter they consistently say there is no firm date for the first beta weekend but it will be this month. So 20th or 27th for sure, just no confirmation of either. Everyone thinks it's the 20th because everyone else is repeating the rumour.
About the repeating dungeons, I imagine you're meant to get the bulk of these tokens through the explorable mode.

Plus that it is closed beta for a reason, the prices and nothing is final version.
