The only reason I've ever played MMOs is for the PvP, so i'll most likely be going for the most promising server for WvW as well as guilds for structured PvP. Although for PvE and stuff a FP guild would be nice to socialize in and play casually

So can we count on our glorious emperor to lead us into monumental PvP battles? Just curious will the guild be PvP focused or PvE focused or a balanced for both tipe of guild?

Balanced, I plan on scheduling organized assaults on WVW keeps, as well as possibly doing dungeon runs or informing people when a megaboss lands and is fuckin shit up. So there might be an announcement to the guild like "Saturday 4pm EST we attack Green's eastern keep" or something like that, and then as many guildies that want to can come join up. If we have enough, we can probably take the keep and hang our banners, like bosses. If we want to go that route and be a bit silly, custom ranks (if they are possible) could be God Emperor, High Priest, Acolyte. Since the majority (if not all) of members will be Facepunchers, the officer status will mostly be some kind of reward for either being helpful, active, trustworthy and all that stuff, and normal members won't be as restricted. I will start rereading this thread a bit more to see who has already earned it, feel free to suggest people. I do know Markfu will get it because of his contributions with the OP. If we do get non-facepunchers somehow, I'd probably make a new rank (once again, if they are even possible), like Disciple, just so we know who is who. Unless you're talking about self occuring events like WvW keep sieges, then nothing can be done about that.

I'll be preording this soon, now that I'll actually have some money.

Gosh, I feel like people who are going to need to contact me are going to have a hard time. My ingame name, steam name and forum name are all completely different.

Seriously though you won't really be able to get around the problems of conflicting time zones. Would work out best if you ran things for whichever time zone you're in and had an officer or officers appointed to run things for the other time zone(s).

I'll help with the guild any way i can too, i have experience leading/assisting/running/etc high end and proper guilds in previous mmo's and would be glad to give any support necessary.
