Every time you see a female Norn thief.
Every time you see an NPC.
It's too late now, I am God Emperor of Facepunch. My reign of terror shall be infinite. First, the mists, and then, the INTERNET! (We should have ranks according to pvp too, like siegemaster, or soldier, etc.)

Necromancer for me. Either that or engineer. Both of them look awesome imo.
I feel like the only one interested in GW2's PVE...
I feel like the only one interested in GW2's PVE...
You're not the only one, hun. I can't stand PvP.
I feel like the only one interested in GW2's PVE...
I prefer PvE to PvP primarily that I like staying alive for more than 30 seconds. However, I agree with some people on the thread that for the Beta, avoid the PvE content so you may enjoy it more at actual release.
PvP is really cool when you get this massive army (fine, call it a zerg if you please) marching from objective to objective, engaging similar armies on the way, attacking strongholds in organized assaults, with the front ranks being held by melee fighters, who are also blocking the passage to the squishier peeps, while ranged people fling arrows, fireballs, bullets and anything else into the fray, and you get this massive hell of particle effects and screams of pain and fury. This is why Warhammer Online was my favourite MMO that I've ever played.
Oh my god, this game is going to be MLG.
Even from the beta structured PvP videos it's really easy to tell that you'll need tons of teamwork to win, and i could see MLG or other gaming leagues picking this game up as an official game really really quickly. That's why i'm wanting to get onto a really good PvP oriented server and find a good guild so i can progress in structured PvP quickly. In WoW I was one of the first people to get field marshall rank, but that was more of a solo grind than anything. In this it seems like it will definitely be whichever teams are more skilled will be rewarded accordingly
Is there even any PVE in GW2 besides the leveling content, and a few dungeons & world bosses?
"Is there even any PvE in this game other than the PvE?"
I wish the beta forums could say anything else than "There has been a horrible error".
I'm still torn between Elementalist and Engineer, i feel i'll only be able to decide once i get to mess around with both in the beta.
I'm torn between Asura thief and human mesmer. Both sound like really enjoyable combinations to me, but I'm trying to pick a good class for both pve/pvp because I'm going to do fucking everything in this game.
im going to be playing ranger thief or warrior. if i play ranger though i probably wont be using mele weps at all. shortbow for kiting , longbow for big damage from further away.

I plan on using the period to try different classes out since progress isn't going to be permanent. Hopefully I'll be happy with my class choice by the time the three day head start rolls around.
"Is there even any PvE in this game other than the PvE?"
I'm pretty sure he means as far as raid content and endgame stuff. We have seen dungeons, leveling, and world bosses but is there anything more extensive? Dunno why I got so many boxes, it's a legitimate question that I've been wondering as well.

Endgame starts from level 1. There is no set "End-game", There are no raids you have to grind equips for just to enter. None of that stupid shit that WoW seems to thrive on.
You see, additional endgame content isn't all that stupid. You level a character to the max level with all the brilliant leveling content, and then what? Having no special endgame eliminates the sense of objective. Really, you're just pretty much better off with deleting your character once you reach the max level, which is also a really difficult decision - after all, the player did spend a couple hundred hours for that character to get to where he is, and now, when you've achieved greatness, there's... Nothing. Just like that. Endgame is a reward for your work. wait, I just realized, I'm trying to change someone's opinion on the net, disregard this post
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/FPGWII Don't forget to join the FP GW2 steam group.
i prefer the dungeon system raids made it easier because you weren't relying as much on individual skill with smaller dungeons people really need to work well as a team. the end game will be unlocking title's cosmetic armour sets ,and exploring your personal story, doing the quests and events. im pretty sure they will have hardmodes for all the dungeons aswell. I'm so glad they added area scaling though, i hate it when you get half way though the quests in a area you really like but you outlevel it and gain no exp from it. this is probably the first mmo where i will enjoy exploring the whole way through rather than just wanting to grind to max level as soon as possible to get into pvp and "endgame content".

If "end game" hurts your feelings too much and reminds you of that stupid WoW game (with it's 10 million subscribers mostly fueled by constantly updated endgame PVE options) then just answer the question and ignore that part. And if you don't have an answer don't reply. Is there PVE outside of 5 man dungeons and world bosses?

There are billions of people addicted to drugs, tobacco and alcohol as well, are you implying that they're good things just because a lot of people can't say no?
i really started to loathe the wow system , im a altaholic 7 lvl 85s and keeping them geared up is a pain in the ass. i just want to be able to be on a equal playing field with all my characters depending on skill rather than. oh i got a lucky roll on the badass pve sword that means i will always have a nice advantage over you.
Is there PvP outside of killing people?
So you can't answer the question? Okay then.
