How about you just drink every time you see someone with a fantasy character's name. Finish two cups, glasses whatever if its changed slightly but still sounding like the original. Or they made a pun in the name like Legololas.

I have a few names from books that I would like to use, I'm going to try to get them really quick.

I just used my real name in GW1 for every cool character and names beyond stupidity for my other characters, I generally cba to think of fitting names lore-wise.

Do you have to have played the game in order to reach the forums? I can't remember recieving any passwords of sorts when I registered my game.

It's not like the game is gonna come out before they get stock. Unless you mean they haven't sent you your beta and headstart access code thing. That might be worrying if the next beta's on friday. I'd say you should wait til you know when the next beta is before you act.

Although if you accidentally did the wrong one or didn't do it correctly you have to wait until they release the ability to change it. The problem I'm having is that the email linked to my Guild Wars 1 account is my old one. Once I linked my GW2 account it changed the email to the old one and all of my GW2 related mail gets sent there. I'll probably find a way to change it back before release. Apparently Anet are going to have a feature to change email associated with GW2 account up sometime in the future.

If the beta weekend is this weekend i have a feeling we should get e-mails either today or tomorrow. If not, then i'm afraid to say it'll be the 27th.

lots of companies like to give you hope by being really vague with release dates / events etc. and they're being no different with this. "End of april" they're going to stretch that out as much as possible and definitely do it the last weekend
