1500 hours on my favorite pve necro and more than 2000 on countless pvp characters. Cannot wait to spend an equal amount of time on this game.

I never really got into the PVP part in Guild Wars. Hopefully I'll be able to in Guild Wars 2.

The PVP in GW1 was fun, I had problems with the PVE. Luckily with GW2 they are really pushing the PVE side of things while still having a unique PVP setup.

Yeah I felt that after a certain point it became too competitive. Of course you could just go into a public match without any prior thought but if you wanted to win you'd need specific builds with specific teams. While the structured PvP, especially the ranked version, may end up similar to this in GW2, the other modes will probably allow for easier access by everyone.

My sister got me the GW2 CE preorder :D I've also been hyped for GW2 since 2007 and played over 1000 hours of GW1. Are we twins?

When the BWE rolls around, try to add "Ektos Plasma" sometime throughout the day. I'll add you to the FP Guild for that weekend. Question: How does everybody feel about letting non-FP'ers (friends of FP'ers, [B]not[/B] random people) into the guild? I would probably be able to differentiate them by giving them a separate rank. Agree if that sounds OK, Disagree if you wouldn't like that.

Quesion about guilds: You can be on a separate server and still be in the same guild, right? So the FP guild can span across several servers and still be the one guild? The PvE isn't server based so i'd assume the guilds wouldn't be either

I would think so, but obviously if we all wanted to WvW together we'd need to be on the same server.

Depending on how many guilds they let you join, I might not even be in the FP guild. Someone told me it was only 3... That might not be enough for me...

Another thing we can test during the BWE. Have lots of people make guilds and one person can try joining all of them and whatnot. I also want to test whether you can see all the guild chats, or just the one you are representing. It would suck if you could only see one, but I don't think they would make that mistake (hopefully...).
