This download is so fast. Thought it was going to be much slower than this. I'm sure it'll be slower when the client is released and everyone is downloading it.

Not to mention there might be speed issues when half a million people try to download.

Yeah that's why I want to get the bulk of the data before they release the client when millions of people try downloading it at the same time! Then all I have to do is wait for it to patch up a few megs.

That's strange, it seems to be reporting the wrong speeds for me. Based on how long it's taken to download 1.8Gigs, Netlimiter seems to be reporting the right speed. [img]http://i.imgur.com/tvDz3.png[/img] Both are in MB/sec. The downloader for the last beta worked fine, so might be a bit of a glitch with this new one.

Damn, I was hoping that at least character creation was available. Time to listen to the login screen in slight disappointment.

Fully downloaded now. I really appreciate the fact that the settings button is on the login screen, I hate games that don't have that. It looks like the full high-res textures will be available for the BWE.
