The system for the real game is: You make your first character and choose a home server, that is your primpary server for all characters. PvE: In the real game you can swap server via a guest system and join your frineds anywhere (even across continents). Being a guest doesnt give you the bonus that a WvW victory grants. PvP: You represent your home server [I]unless[/I] you purchace a swap that allows you to set change home servers (for 1800 gems if i remember). This can only be done once every week. Changing home will grant the bonuses from WvW

So it's been agreed that FP is going to Anvil rock with /vg/? I'd much prefer that, the /vg/ group is definitely a much more skilled group of player and the community won't be such an inevitable spam fest of shitty memes and "OMFG I CANT BELEVEVIVE IM ACTUELY PLAYNG!!1!"

Just add the decided servers to the top of the OP if you haven't already.

Am I the only one planning to play on a server with no large communities on it and probably with the chat turned off? At least for the first beta weekend.

I look forward to joining a server to play with other people while completely ignoring them. A secondary point of the game is to play with random people but not be bound to them.

There's a 300 player cap to get in to WvW so we should definitely stay with a smaller server for this

There's always going to be people from one community who dislike people from another community it's just how it works. Honestly, /vg/ is our best bet, and for those of us who are planning to play WvW it's going to be good for us since it's not going to be so over populated with a bunch of PvP guilds constantly playing WvW that we will actually be able to get in to the WvW matches.

I'll be playing on Underworld with the community of my country for the BWE. I may decide on another world when it fully releases though.

Guild Wars 2 Beta, The Avengers on cinema, Monday and Tuesday off. I'll be able to pull an all nighter until the final moments until the beta closes. Gonna be the best weekend ever.
