My ingame chat hasn't been working since i logged on at 11AM but i'm too scared to restart

Hm, my friend let me try the game on his account, but once I finished my character I get a black screen after the cutscene. Restarting the game makes me unable to log in, ah well I guess we'll have to try again later/tomorrow.
