some time we should try set up a DoA run in gw1, i know its something a lot of people have wanted to do and maybe not found a guild to run it with.
Why not, I've done DoA plenty of times but it can't hurt to come along.
I say in the next weekend beta the Dev team takes on players in PvP and if the players win the dev's have to keep the beta open longer, would be fun.

I know some people who used to solo that... I'd love to come along but I'm pretty sure I would be carried throughout the whole thing.
I want to get to at least 35 for that balthazar gauntlet, seeing as that is who my hooman will be worshiping

Yeah I have a tank but the tank build I use is custom from a personal friend. I literally do no damage but I can survive for awhile. I'm currently running some Triple Chop Axe build that does some sweet aoe but eats up my energy. I used this build the whole time I was with Mickers.
I also have a sin that can rack up some nice damage, but again I think I would be carried unless I spend a week and lots of money to make a nice build.

yeh, i really couldn't be bothered to bind my utility skills to my naga, ill do it next beta, usually i bind everything to shift+ 1 2 3 4 5 but there is no modifiers in beta atm and q e r t f ect but i didnt want to delete any shortcuts i might have needed.

Quetzal Sly and Scourge Manta, both common.
tormented items cost a lot more than 70k you would be better off getting luxon and 2 more sets of armour for the 3 armour set point. and one extra tormented or destroyer wep. The moa quest is quite a pain in the ass without heroes or more people.

You're right. I don't know where I got 70k from! I suppose I'll get Marhan's Grotto Ascended Armor and another cheap one. Then grab one more destroyer wep. You think it would be cheaper to just grab 10 more common mini's or the Hero Armor sets?
Can't you buy/trade for the Black Moa?

Luxon isnt too difficult to earn, just takes a lot of PvP. Can get one Jade from each game in Fort Aspenwood and 2 from every other win.
Anyone that wants an easy bit of gold should have a look at [url=http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Treasure]Secret treasures[/url], they can get you gold items (wisdom title/money) or gems (diamond for destroyer weapons/ ruby & sapphire for vaabi armor) for minimum effort.
the hero's armour is pretty cheap for eotn heroes like 4k each, i think the moa is like 50-60k. some of the other heroes armour gets more expensive than mini's
The part that made the sorrows furnace quest tough for me was you have to split up at one bit and i couldnt see what my other group of heroes was doing, so i ended up getting a earth ele to join and tank at the npc

If you do that more than once a month per character the money goes down by loads and quality of item from chest so try not to double click the treasure

The only thing I don't like about a male ele in GW1 is that all the armors are ugly, the only one that's kinda decent is the elite kurzick...

if it is about anticipating the next BWE/the game, it's GW2
