(Aka most of europe)
Maybe you should do some research before stating such a silly statement. I got my gems just fine.
I used a Debit card and it worked fine. But I'm in the US, so idk. The gem shop was broken at first, you should know. Nobody could get gems for a while, and then they fixed it. Maybe you just happened to try during the broken period?
wait what? Don't we have like 25 hours left? [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] it's on the forums. I would give you the direct link but I cannot seem to log in. forum.guildwars2.com [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] it probably has to do with my account being suspended. I hope that doesn't influence my GW2 account!!! oh shit. Can anyone else log on to the forums? I'm scared now.
I can't log in.
Can someone link me to the downloader so I can start installing.
This should do it http://cloudfront.guildwars2.com/client/Gw2.exe

Does anyone else think that golem banker you get with the digital edition is pretty shitty. I mean, you only have it for 5 days after you use it. I wish it was permanent and just had an incredibly long cooldown like 24 hours or 48.
Most of the digital rewards were pretty unappealing, except for maybe the mini. I guess it depends how much influence/glory those other items give. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] Also, I just noticed something. Eir, Zojja and Logan are all 'rare' miniatures. Currently, the only way we know how to get miniatures is by buying a pack of 3 with gems. Rytlock is gotten through the Digital Edition. Where is the Caithe miniature?
I'm sure there is going to be birthday presents as well. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] 8 hours until my suspension is over...
I'm sure as well, but I also feel like they would make new minis for the birthdays, just like they always did in GW. So the list of minis we know now would probably be only through the store (or other players).
When's the next beta event or something to play the game?

It's only a handful of hours though.
It's only a handful of hours though.
Any amount of hours that help me get to the 15th is a good amount of hours.
I have a whole bunch of crap to do, so I doubt I will be able to log on during the stress test. Graduating soon so I'll have plenty of time for GW2 then!
Sigh, cannot play stress test due to computer being eh. My laptop w/ the beta got damaged so I sent it in for repairs on the past Monday... the wait begins...
Oh yeah, just remembered something. I was a bit surprised during the beta that you could mail gold to other players, but not gems. I suppose sending them gold and having them buy gems is pretty much the same thing, I was just a bit surprised...
There an NDA for the stress test?
I never really looked into it, but was there any form of "Trading"? No, not sending people stuff via pigeons. But was there personal "trade my bow for your dagger" type of thing? I used the pigeon a lot to send cotton candy and apple pie to the FP guild members.

I really hope they do figure out a way to make that work, other than trusting other players to send items in return. Also, does anyone know when the stress test starts EST? I calculated it wrong last time.

People keep saying how the game is great and the gameplay and all that. But the best thing is the no subscription, its like I dont need to commit to paying some game every month if I want to play. I can just play it when I want, anytime I want.
EST is 3 hours ahead of PST so it would be 2 p.m. your time.
Fuck yes. Right when I get out of school.
I'm going to leave work early and i'll probably be on about 4-5 EST. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] Maybe the latency will have cooled down by then.
Gah, I have so much to do today. Game of thrones, preparing for a test, work.. And then Guild Wars 2.
No there wasn't, it's something that a lot of players are asking for.
Forgive me if I'm being silly here, but I don't see what the problem is? Instead of standing in a large town and spamming WTS THIS ITEM, or WTB THIS ITEM, you go to the trading post, and buy/sell through there. If it's a friend you want to send stuff to, you can still do it. I don't really see why we would need personal trading with this system. It also prevents scammers and such, through the fact that the prices are somewhat regulated by the system. If one is extremely expensive you just don't buy it, since you see the average price it's being sold for.
Gah, I have so much to do today. Game of thrones, preparing for a test, work.. And then Guild Wars 2.
Today is a great day for me. Get home from school, watch Game of Thrones and then just chill until the stress test!
No, Even without characters you are bound to the server you chose in the stresstest (Or beta 1) Unless you use gems (Impossible without a credit card)
Goddamnit, this is why I'm actually hoping characters and stuff are reset on release. Either that or more money for ANet
I have no problem with being stuck in Ring of Fire, all my real life friends play in it.
