And the servers were only up for 5-8 hours to stress test. Which would probably have been harder if they didn't keep all the characters.

It would be stupid to keep all of the beta characters in release seeing as the game would have changed completely from the beta. Then most of the players wouldn't even experience the changes that occured throughout the lower levels.

By that I mean I made 4 reinforced storage boxes then never touched it again. It was pretty straight forward though. They could probably reduce the amount of ingredients to half of the amount and it would be 10x better.

So I was thinking of getting this game. For the people that played the beta test, can you tell me if it's worth dropping the money now? I liked GW1 but I never had anyone to play with. And when is the next beta period?

I tried out staff play for my ele and I may never go back to dual daggers or staff. Maybe because I don't like depending on conditions to save me, or because of the range. Staff also has a dedicated heal function with water affinity. Seems legit.

anyone else receive a ton of green drops during the stress test, some of the runes on them kinda cool as well. I had one that if i had the same rune on twice then there was a 2% chance when attacking to have a bird attack for me.
