I'm sure you'll all hate me for saying this, but I'm really happy the event wasn't this weekend. I have been getting freezes and blue screens, and I think one of my pieces of hardware just failed, and I couldn't even boot Windows. I think it is my video card. I'm currently running the computer on a Nvidia 6800, and it's so old that I can't even run my normal resolution of 1920x1080 (I'm on like 1280xsomething) Gotta wait for a bit, and if I no longer get blue screens, I probably need a new video card. How expensive...

Also if you see "Chaos Beserker" on GW1 then i'll gladly help with temple of the intolerable, been stuck there for ages.

Oh, the card that I think is having problems is a GTX 260. The 6800 is what I had around, and I am testing things on it. Computer didn't even seem to start up on the 260. Too bad for my wallet, if the problem is the card.

Nah, I'm an Nvidia guy. I can't keep up with the ATI's cards, I dunno how to compare them. Where was that 570 on sale? I have about $240 available if I also sell my TF2 stuff. Though I shouldn't get ahead of myself, I have some other things to test whether it is a card problem, or a software problem.

500 series is rather awesome, especially 560Ti and 580. If you've a 470 then you're pretty set for a good while since games don't really take advantage of stronger vid cards besides graphic quality. I swear, we have the ability to render DX11 stuffs yet games never step beyond DX9/10. Bleh. Hi Bullet.

i got a 460 and it runs perfect on a big monitor, but i got that quite a while ago, go with the 560.

All the talk of graphics cards make my nvidia 9800GT feel really old. Still works perfectly though and if anything i'll need a laptop for when i head off to university. Is there any news on the next BWE? I havent been keeping up since Diablo 3.

I want to create unique names for the two charr's I'm going to create (Warrior and Guardian). Although I'm having a lot of trouble finding something the fits both me and my character. Most of the names I'm trying to come up with don't represent me/connect with me. It will feel as if the character I create is someone different or not my character as it doesn't represent me. Varro the Mindless (Varrr means blockhead) Kudos of the Fallen (Kudos means glory/fame) Glokhis Clear Cut (Glokhis means arrowhead) I don't know...

In a GW:EotN mission, you helped Pyre Fierceshot's warband. They were named Bonwor Fierceblade, Cowl Fiercetongue, Gron Fierceclaw, Roan Fierceheart, Seer Fiercereign and Swift Fiercejustice. So if that helps, yeah. So, last name is like Warband name + a unique noun.

I've not updated my drivers once (since I had my card installed) and haven't had an issue yet. Maybe it's just me.. Also, guildname needs to be Charr-punny too. Korr Punnyshot.
