Uploaded the finale, about 15 minutes long though.
Also I managed to glitch the catacomb skill point area and teleport myself through the ground.

i'm just going to wait until release. I only played for like 3 hours this beta weekend and i'm already getting bored with the structured PvP (3 maps in the beta is really stale) and there was only enough content in the beta up to level 30, although you can level past that.

PVP can be quite dull till you find a pvp build you like, the first few hours for me were a bit like you said. What class did you pvp on?

the first BWE i played like 20 hours and got to glory rank 2 in PvP (which was 15k glory i think?) and was playing a warrior and it was fun as fuck. but this weekend i had the same build and played warrior again and it just wasn't as fun, the maps weren't interesting enough to keep be interested for another 20 hours

I switched classes a lot in the first event but I found warrior and mesmer most enjoyable i think im glory rank 6 maybe almost 7 now. I do agree that id like some different game types just to change it up a bit even if they dont put them in tournament play.
1) How the hell did you level so quickly
2) I remember reading in one of the recent blogs that it was 35, but looking at them I think they edited it out? Maybe I read it on the Reddit AMA.
There was a level 62 or 65 in this beta.
He has a thread on guru.
I only leveled all professions to level 11 to get a decent sense of them all, I never went beyond level 11 because I do not want to spoil too much content.
Am I a bad person for never finishing Prophecies? I got to [sp]Prince Rurik's death in the Shiverpeaks[/sp] but after that I accidentally deleted my character (when they didn't have the prompt), couldn't be bothered restarting and ended up playing/finishing Factions instead.
I never got round to properly even starting Nightfall to be honest, and I only have one of the tapestries in EotN.
But now that I actually have time and want to finish them, they're so underpopulated that I doubt I can.
Acquire heroes.
Prophecies is good in a sense that you can skip most of missions, if you just want that statue for finishing the last mission.
You can get someone to run you to Droknars and do last 6 missions from there onward.
Though, prophecies has best story of the campaigns in my opinion, so by skipping missions you lose majority of the story.
Nightfall is incredibly long, iirc. 20 or so missions. You get lots of heroes from there, though.
Nightfall long??? Nightfall only takes 6 hours tops, and I am sure it can be done way faster than that.
Complete Nightfall and Eye of the North first (in that order) to acquire heroes to make stuff way easier and then complete Prophecies if you wish so. You don't have to do it in this order of course but it makes Guild Wars so much easier.

They can easily be completed with henchmen, and with heroes in hardmode as well.
Personally, Guildwars 1 is still by far my favorite game of all time, I've spent over 5,500 hours playing it, but I still come back to it.

I was quite near the end but my friends all got bored of GW as we'd played it to death (especially Eye of the North and Factions.) I could never really find any parties for those missions so I just never finished it.

I guess I must be pretty bad at MMOs then because I never found it that easy with the AI.

Don't know if I'd say you were bad at MMO's, but every single area in the game can be completed with (relative) ease in a fast time with AI nowadays.
For some places it does take a bit of know-how though.
What in the hell is that?
Steam Ogre.

What is the wvw exp buff + the kill streak buff in this?

Try as I might I don't think I can get into the swing of GW after playing the beta. I found a YT channel though where the guy played through all of the campaigns, so I'll at least watch Prophecies for the rest of the story.
I'm still up for doing EotN though, if only for the story and Hall of Monuments rewards, though I'm only at 10.

Kill streak bonus is when you kill different kinds of creatures in a row from what I remember.
The exp buff was just the +XX% boost you could buy from the store.

Woodenpotatoe's channel? Watched all of his stuff as well, was a pretty good watch.
Q: is the asuran available for the beta this weekend?
A: Hi Lucleader,
Asura is not available in this event (BWE2). But watch this space!
Thanks for the question and your support.
Chris

Q: I'll try asking again:
Will the Asura or Sylvari EVER be playable in a BWE, or is A-Net planning to not let us play as them until launch?
Also, since BWE 2 was delayed so much, will BWE 3 be less than a month away from BWE 2?
A: Hi Zyketor,
Thanks for your questions. Will Asura and Sylvari be playable in a BWE? Watch this space (-:
In regard to our event cadence, this is very much dependent on the feedback we receive and internal readiness to ensure that not only is each event up to scratch but more importantly ensuring we have everything in place to guarantee we are going to get the best feedback possible which in turn builds towards the overall quality of the game and launch.
Sorry i can't be more specific but we take our Events very seriously from a development perspective and therefore there are a plethora of considerations when it comes to timing.
Thanks for your support,
Chris
Q: I bet you guys are loving to torture us by not releasing Asura/Sylvari, haha. Love you guys anyway.

What the fuck does, "Watch this space" mean? This is frustrating!
[editline]12th June 2012[/editline]
I take it's some Reddit term?
The space is a noticeboard or hoarding where a new message will be posted shortly. By extension, it indicates that something significant is expected to be revealed soon.
BWE3 will probably unlock the last two races, or at least one of them.
AFAIK, and as the wiki says, the killstreak bonus thing you can buy from the gem store is an item that gives you 100% exp from kills for 30 seconds, and every time you get a kill, the timer resets.
BWE3 will probably unlock the last two races, or at least one of them.
That's what it sounds like! I am really excited. I already have a level 37 Human Ranger, but I always wanted a Sylvari Ranger. Going to be weird starting over, but It'll be fresh content :)
Still debating on some of the races for my professions except my main two characters (Ranger/Elementalist). Should my Necromancer be a Sylvari or Asura? Should my Warrior be a Charr or Norn? Should my Thief be a Human or Asura? I DON'T KNOW!!! D:
EDIT:
Got to keep reminding myself that I still have time to decide but I plan on creating all my characters first day on release. That way I'm sure no one will take my names (because I don't want to spend $10 in GW1 for each name I want).

I'm sure there are a lot of spots where you can exploit this boost. Find somewhere that has high spawn rates.

I got one of those and I've never used it. 30 seconds seems to little time to effectively kill stuff. 1 minute would be more appropriate.
Soon as Asura become available i'll be all over that shit.
I want to play as a Sylvari, tree people for the win
I just hope I can make a male sylvari actually look badass. If not there's always the female option...
I just want to go swimming with my Sylvari and see if she grows taller:)

I hope not too many people crowd the new professions. It's going to be odd when there are more Asura/Sylvari than Humans D:
[editline]12th June 2012[/editline]
Of course it's going to happen during BWE3 (if they're available then).
