Understanding that you are getting tired of the stale and boring grind within WoW proves that you will just love Guild Wars 2 that much more! You don't really have to play Guild Wars 1 to play Guild Wars 2. Although I would suggest that you atleast research some basic lore and watch some video's of what happened in Guild Wars 1. Sorry for asking stupid questions, but here's another one: Are each of the races a different faction, so the PvP happens between races, or is it possible to team up with other races for dungeons and PvP and stuff?

You can group up and PvP with and against all races, it isn't locked in any way.

There are factions but they do not separate them by race but rather qualities.

The lore seems interesting, and the gameplay looks nice and different. I'll probably get it to atleast try it, hopefully I'll get hooked.

As for the poll on world choice, no one really seems to care about staying on Moladune, and most people seem OK with staying on Ring of Fire, so the world choices may be [sp]Anvil Rock (NA) and Ring of Fire (EU)[/sp] Spoiler'd because it's not final decision yet.

It's not necessarily just 4chan that we're chasing but fun itself.

To be fair, splinter communities from larger sites, like 4chan/reddit/facepunch itself is usually full of really good people to play games with.

Just go to a lesser inhabited server, you can guest to others and the entire point of WvW is inter-server Pick one with 2-3 groups instead of like 9

I'm wondering if i should just instantly do SPvP and try to get the highest rank possible right away, obviously taking breaks in between for some questing but SPvP being top priority. Or should I hit 80 first and then do SPvP? The only reason i'm playing is for the PvP and WvW so memhmemhmeh

Just submitted my form, remembered i'd forgot all my character names except one, doesn't really matter when asura and slyvari are out anyway since i'll be making new chars. also if you need to know your {name}.{number} just use the account.guildwars2 page
