Hey guys, I'm on vacation and will be until July 15th. It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do! I think that more people would be interested in Asura than Sylvari. I can wait to see Rata Sum and then try and jump off the top. If the steam summer sale doesn't decimate my bank account, I'm gonna buy a reasonable amount of gems on release. And by reasonable, I mean all of the gems. Arenanet will run out of digital gems.

Just got a key from curse and got my account setup and linked to my GW1 one. Glad I get to try this game on my rig before buying. I already know it plays well but I wanted to make sure it would run well.

Wait, so what's the display name. Is that just your account name, or does it transfer to your characters as well?

I think that's the name that shows up on the forums. It will also show that as your name if you are on someones friends list in game so you don't have to add every character on someone's account.

what's world versus world like when a lot of people are playing? i was on one of the dead worlds last beta weekend so one team had already taken over the entire map when i decided to join. i found three other people and we attempted to take at least one base, but we kept getting killed. it was kind of depressing seeing that huge open world so quiet and empty.

Then ran some more, and kept running. Then after some more running, we ran some more, then about 6 and a half hours later we made it to the battle that was across the map, then we died, and ran back. Once the games out and people progress keeps and areas to the point where you can build waypoints you will be doing a lot of walking just to get near any battles.

I think WvW was bugged last BWE, and almost every server had 100% of the territory. The BWE before that, it was usually like 50-30-20 between the 3 servers, but it would change back and forth pretty often. Also, moladune.

So I pre-ordered the collectors edition from Amazon. Where to get key n stuff?
