How come I can only warp to 1 point in WvW when it says i've unlocked 7. There needs to be more since I really cba running halfway across the map to die again.

Fuck me, not only did I not patch the game last night, I also thought the beta went from Saturday to Monday. So I'll have about 12 hours tops to play tomorrow because I'm a forgetful dumbass. :(

The amount of choice is annoying me I'm not getting anything done. I can't decide between any of the races or any of the professions :(

WvW gets so laggy for me anytime I'm where the action is at.

I don't really like repetitive quests, I mostly solo because I'm not sure if I'll have friends playing it, and probably will be doing groups solo. How does endgame work? Is there raids, do I have to PvP for gear? Or whats the deal? How is the combat? Is it just cast cast roll cast cast roll? Does lag compensation come into play badly in this in PvP battles? All the questions because I cannot get into the beta myself, even though I signed up a couple times, and I'm wary of pre-ordering games after spending near 70$ on SW:TOR and not playing it after the first month...

in the asura beginning zones, I've found there's a rather dramatic jump in quest level requirements after you hit 9. I had to do the lvl 10 main story quest at 9 (which was balls-hard but fun as a result), and the next one after that is lvl 11 then 14. I've all but completed every available side-quest that isn't two levels above my head and I'm still only lvl 12, and that's WITH running to all of the area events I've seen, getting gold participation all the time. I know it's still a huge upgrade from the grind you find in a lot of other MMOs already, I'm just kind of surprised the curve struck already

My highest level character is level 6, I've just been doing PvP.

I started playing Human Engineer today, currently at about 9 hours. Been doing a lot of exploring, but now I find myself as a level 11 where my story is for level 16. :v:

I find myself at level 17 for a level what is supposed to be 16 quest, but the path is blocked by level 24+ mobs. :suicide:

Do you guys run wvw groups?

So much for my plan of "Sylvari thief or ranger". I've gone through so many characters, I guess that's what happens when you stay in complete darkness about a big mmo :suicide:

Installing the Beta now. Dumb question, but do races have perks with certain classes (Like Asuran's are supposed to be smart, so they'd get bonuses to Engineer, or something like that), or is it purely an aesthetic choice?
