Choosing race is so god damn difficult. I want to play every race ( Except Charr ) but I hate levelling five characters at equal pace.

Norn, Charr, and Human all look nice to me. I like Asura thematically and think their starting zone is probably the coolest, but I can't stand small races. Sylvari I think are frankly kind of dumb/silly thematically.

Once you get one max level then the rest are easy! Also there are xp boosts that can help.

Also remember that taking the same race with different choices at the start can give you a completely different story. More replayability.

Haha never thought about it that way xD Unless you're an Asura then you would be looking at its head all the time.

I just choose whatever fits the character best, like what Daijitsu was talking about earlier about character backgrounds and stuff.

I could easily spew out a backstory for my human ele in like, a few minutes. But I won't, because that's tedious and unnecessary unless I start to RP.

I could tell the visual differences between the sexes of most races except for the Asura, they all look the same.

Other than that, you have to base it off face and hairstyle. And some of the faces are very unfeminine
