Im sure they will have a tonic that transforms you into one.

If they add races in expansions, I will bet 1 whole copper that Tengu are the first added.

Pretty much. Before they announced all of the races of GW2, I completely thought Tengu would be in at release.
What are the Tengu anyways, for someone who has never played Guild Wars?
A race of bird people that were usually enemies while you were playing. They appeared in the original Guild Wars, and in one of the expansions. In Factions (the first expansion), one of the clans of Tengu were friendly towards you and you could do a quest or two with them. We really don't know too much about their backstory, other than that some of them were friendly, and some weren't. The Caromi, that I assume are the ones in GW2, were always enemies in the first game.

I doubt that they are still active in GW2 The majority of the tengu in Tyria reside in the Dominion of Winds, the population of this city is mostly consisted of the descendants of Canthan immigrants. The tengu were forced out of Cantha during the reign of Emperor Usoku.
There is quiet a few things we know about Tengu such as their religion, government, and culture.
I'd much rather be a Kodan.
Hopefully if they release tengu as playable they all don't have the breathing that Talon Silverwing from Factions had. Sounded like he had a serious breathing problems a times.
I'd much rather be a Kodan.
All I can think about Kodan is that they are just like Norn in permanent bear form. And that seems like a waste of a new race, when they have a chance to add something more unique. Especially since WoW just added their panda race, I feel like they wouldn't do this any time soon.
That head makes it look like a seal.

I've been noticing a lot of voice actors from other games such as fenris from Dragon Age 2 (some Sylvari nightmare guy) and that Charr from the races trailer is a Krogan from Mass Effect I can't quite put my finger on.

Grunt from Mass Effect. Bastila and Desmond are in GW2 too :p Along with tons of other big names.
To be fair, Nolan North is in EVERYTHING, as is Jennifer Hale.
don't forget billy west I sure haven't
Now that I've decided too buy this game, I am excited for it. How much does it cost? 49$?
Now that I've decided too buy this game, I am excited for it. How much does it cost? 49$?
$59.99 USD
Ha, you Americans, paying double what we do.
$59.99 USD
Buggery. That's gonna cost me just about the same as SW:TOR.. and if this game flops.. Bah, decisions override now.
Ha, you Americans, paying double what we do.
Exchange rates.
