Asuran children are creepy looking, in my opinion. Probably just because I hate the male child's hair.
Gah, is there any image hosting that doesn't resize images that are larger than 3000x3000 and over 7MB?
Try filesmelt, maybe?
Try filesmelt, maybe?
Thanks! http://filesmelt.com/dl/Slyvari_DArmor1.png *fixed [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] Bookmarking that shit.
Thanks! http://filesmelt.com/dl/Slyvari_DArmor.png [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] Bookmarking that shit.
The light armor for Catacombs is wrong.
Dropbox is so confusing...I can't seem to get a link to the original image. Instead have a auto resized version: [t]http://i.imgur.com/msCY9.jpg[/t]
I want to see what the charr armour looks like. I think the medium armour looks the worst out of the three options on most of those though.
What's the currency in those screenshots anyway?
What's the currency in those screenshots anyway?
Tokens you get for going through the dungeon. Estimate ~40 for each successful run. [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] PS, Howler legendary is a horn, if you hadn't figured that out. Have a cool sniper rifle. [t]http://g35.img-up.net/221624592f.jpg[/t]
just looked at all the dungeon sets for the asura, and i'm incredibly pleased with how the warrior / heavy armor sets turned out. plus having the option to change the colour makes me even more excited for all the badass combinations [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] Does anyone have a link to what the PvP gear sets will look like?
Does anyone know if those dungeons will have a sort of dungeon finder to quickly find a group for? Some of the dungeon armor sets for Humans look fucking amazing
The light armor for Catacombs is wrong.
oh lol you're right I accidently put heavy there. I'll fix it in a minute. [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] http://filesmelt.com/dl/Slyvari_DArmor1.png *fixed Oh and I really messed up the Slyvari sets. I didn't realize that some of the sets only have four pieces and it displayed on the next set... oh well you get the idea.
I don't even know how to look through the models, I am just piggybacking off the success of other people - I found a thread with a handful of cool models.
I was looking through the models, but there were way too many trees and scenery props to find anything cool :I
I think the items with five numbers are usually not props. [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] Wow the database takes a long time to load now. Over 213,000 files! [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] Ahh the updated browser seems to be much faster!

Going through that, I have to say that medium armour gets shafted in the looks department. Although I'm glad the norn can actually become space marines.
I really like this one: Too bad I'm going to be Sylvari. Usually does...
I'm not a huge fan of any of the medium armors :/
I didn't get into the Beta at all sadly, but I went and pre-ordered the game today, it looks crazy good fun.
I didn't get into the Beta at all sadly, but I went and pre-ordered the game today, it looks crazy good fun.
You made a good choice! If you plan on playing with us during launch make sure to fill out the Guild signup form. Look forward to seeing you in-game! [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] NA: Gates of Madness (most likely) EU: Ring of Fire
Launch is the day before my birthday, so fo sho'
Launch is the day before my birthday, so fo sho'
But since you pre-ordered you get a three day head start! :D
Also, I pre ordered at a store, not via the site, is there a way to register on the guild wars 2 site or is that for those who've pre-ordered via the site? Edit: Lmao nevermind, it's cheaper on the guild wars site anyway, so I'll just cancel my pre-order at the store and just buy it online
I'm not a huge fan of any of the medium armors :/
It may be his horrible colour scheme, but they definitely look... off. This one is probably the worst offender in the medium armour category: [t]http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/image765.png[/t] I actually liked the starter medium armour.
I really like the starter medium armor, the starter light armor as well. Not a fan of starter heavy armor, though.

I'm really on the fence about this game, I loved Guild Wars 1, but since then I've played a metric shitton of WoW, and I've completely burnt out of that type of hotkey combat, how hot-key-ey(?) is the combat in GW2? I kind of like that it's limited buttons and not 105 spells that span across your entire screen (Or from what I can see anyway)
Not sure what you mean by hotkey combat. You're going to have to press buttons no matter what game you're playing.

I kind of like that it's limited buttons and not 105 spells that span across your entire screen (Or from what I can see anyway)
Well first of all you can set almost any skill to auto attack, so you don't have to continuously click it. You also have the choice to disable that feature too. The rest of the skills you obviously have to click to use and a lot of them are ground-targeted and actually produce effects you 'feel'. Another feature I really enjoy is the auto targeting where it targets the enemy closest to you and in your general direction you are looking towards. Although you still have the ability to switch targets quickly. You're right about there not being 108 skills per class. Each weapon gives a set of different skills to each class. You also have the ability to quickly and easily swap weapons in-combat (excluding Elementalist due to its attunements). Then you have Utility Skills that are skills that you choose to use and these can be swapped easily out of combat. Think of choosing a deck of cards.
