ah that's not entirely correct, just some proffesion/weapon combos seem beyond standard, like Mesmer with a greatsword, shooting magic out the tip [editline]5th March 2012[/editline]
Elaborate.
the only caster guy with a sword doesn't even use proper magic for fighting also they're bloody huge, Charr warriors seem to have trouble lugging them around [editline]5th March 2012[/editline] funniest thing is that now I've looked it up and they can indeed use a fiery greatsword, though it's got an asterisk on it yup it's an elite skill that says "Summon and wield a fiery greatsword."

It seems like a great WvW pvp weapon doing massive damage to multiple people.
yup it's an elite skill that says "Summon and wield a fiery greatsword."
Can you fire laser beams out of it? Because its a dealbreaker without it.
I wonder how many people actually was able to sign up for the beta within that time frame they had it up.
Can you fire laser beams out of it? Because its a dealbreaker without it.
well the basic attack for it is called "Flame Wave", so go figure sadly I cannot give more info about it as the site I'm looking at for intel is bugged out and won't tell me [editline]5th March 2012[/editline] also you can summon a lightning hammer, which is a terrible shame because it would be 73 percent cooler and more dangerous if it were called "Thunder Hammer"
ah they're elite skills, also over 1 million signed up for the beta they left it open a couple of hours more to get 1mill
I wonder how many people actually was able to sign up for the beta within that time frame they had it up.
A million people.
fucking hell I'm looking at the elementalist's skills and they all sound bloody awesome. Magnetic shields? Lightning hammers? Flaming swords? Lava axes? Frost bows? They've got them all, including fun abilities like pulling enemies toward you with magnetism, building walls of frost or leaving burning trails in your wake
I wonder how many people actually was able to sign up for the beta within that time frame they had it up.
A little over a million.
bloody hell the thief can dual wield pistols? jesus christ how cool can it get
bloody hell the thief can dual wield pistols? jesus christ how cool can it get
have you seen any of the yogcasts vids? they show alot of content and if you dont find them annoying they can be entertaining.
Yogscast is dumb. Full of squealing screams and non-evades. Although they do show great examples of each profession.
Yogscast is dumb. Full of squealing screams and non-evades. Although they do show great examples of each profession.
The squealing is the most annoying thing. If you can get over that, their videos are insanely entertaining and informative.
I like how all these game reviewers get keys, etc... and they don't even know how to play games.
yeah uhm they get paid to talk about games and not for achieving things in games
bloody hell the thief can dual wield pistols? jesus christ how cool can it get
I'm gonna dual wield daggers, initiate with loads of crits and initiative gain. Then escape with Roll for Initiative (caltrops dropped with a trait) and switch to dual pistols. Gonna feel so satisfying finishing people off with unload.
Yogscast is dumb. Full of squealing screams and non-evades. Although they do show great examples of each profession.
Yogstcast is anything but dumb. They are really bright and intelligent people. They just "suck at games", as they would say themselves. It's amazing how much footage they got out of 48 hours.
Yogscast isn't that bad. They show things and explain them well.
I'll just stick with Totalbiscuit.
Personally in WvW i think they should have a Dev's only server and if after two weeks the Dev team's server loses they have to give up info about future expansions or release some extra content the week after.
Don't get me wrong, I've seen every Yogscast video, but I think just they're rather annoying and inexperienced with MMO's. People tend to judge the game by the people who are playing them.

I prefer Totalbiscuit for his actual content and professionalism, but I also enjoy the Yogscast because they have fun with their content.
It's funny because i think they are pretty experienced WoW players. thing is that WoW doesn't require skill.
I sucked at WoW too much to wholly agree with that
It's funny because i think they are pretty experienced WoW players. thing is that WoW doesn't require skill.
Spoken like someone who never actually got to the hard parts of WoW.
It's funny because i think they are pretty experienced WoW players. thing is that WoW doesn't require skill.
come say that to my face in naxx not in strat and see what happens grr
Wow doesn't require skill so much as to say it just requires you to be competant at the game, in terms of pve anyway, pvp just requires you to be arsed to get the gear then competant enough to know when to use your cheap ass stuff.

It's easy to hit max level, do a few dungeons and some random BG's and call WoW skill-less but you look dumb doing it.
It's funny because i think they are pretty experienced WoW players. thing is that WoW doesn't require skill.
Isn't that just contradicting your own statement? [editline]5th March 2012[/editline] [sp]inb4 Guild Wars requires skill[/sp]
Who gives a shit guys. The thing that started this argument was more about how you can dodge and maneuver while battling in GW2 as opposed to other MMOs, and that's why people who PLAY it like other MMOs do terribly.
