They might have another sign-up opportunity, but as far as I know if you signed up already then you're signed up for all beta events. I'd try out the beta for Tera but unfortunately, I live in Canada, and we have some pretty shitty internet here, I have a...WONDERFUL download cap of 60 gigabytes, and I'm already over the cap. Funny enough, it resets on the 12th, which is after that beta session ends. ...God... 2012, 60 gigs.

I'm in Montreal though so they might not have spread out to other provinces.

Everyday I check my e-mail for a beta invite... everyday I'm dissappointed...

Only capped Internet I can think of in Poland right now, is the mobile one for laptops provided by mobile phone companies.... But there were few offers of such retarded thing back there, few years ago... I'm happy that my 3rd world country, that forces me to work whole month for 1/4 or 1/5 of someone's else monthly payment, provides me with internet with speed of ~70 gigabytes (6,5 mb/s at downloading, 1,2 upload) without any limits... Thank god for that and only for that...

This is why I don't like America's capatilistic views on EVERYTHING. There should be new standards set in place. Fuck man, AT&T is a dick when it comes to internet. Yes, it is unlimited but 3mb/s is extremely slow compared to what [B][I]should[/I][/B] be a new standard (10mb/s minimum?). ALso, finiky, fluctuating internet is not fun online in a hardcore moment. We had to sign a petition, and we got enough signatures. 4 Years since we got fiberglass, around 12MB down and up, and most of our city has the same speed. WTF?![/QUOTE] The country is a lot more spread out than most of europe, can't run fiber optic from dc to california cheaply. And don't go threw one of the major phone companies for internet, try an actual internet supplier company. 10mb down/ 3mb up in bumfuck nowhere, for me at least.

I'm actually stoked for underwater combat/zones. The last time I heard about this kind of thing, it was the 90's with Everquest.

I hope this game comes out during the summer.

Does anyone else feel like they will spoil the game for themselves if they look at too many videos, tinker with the skill calculator too much, or read too much about it? I feel like I'm rationing my hype for the game.

Yeah. I haven't touched the skill calculators and I've only really watched TB's beta footage since they're gearing specifically towards the mechanics and trying to avoid the story.

Well I've made over 20 builds using the calculator, watched pretty much every single video and read almost all the articles. I don't consider the game 'spoiled'. I think it's just fear that makes you believe that.

I want the game to have a fresh feeling, so that I can fiddle around with the skills and discover new locations and mechanics without already knowing them.

TB did pretty well with that. The videos typically talk about the mechanics and the general types of skills that each profession will have. Well, of the professions he's finished with.
