Guild Wars 2 V2: GOTY 2017 or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Arenanet

Finally got that email. My inbox says it got it around noon, which is a total lie. Yahoo has issues sometimes
Well the gameplay was nothing special, I was hoping for some live gameplay of a new event or something.
It seemed like a recap of what other vids have covered on WvW.

Decent video, just two guys talking about it, explanations underneath the video, etc.
Realised that was vague.. they are talking about WvWvW and PvP including mechanics.
I hate how everybody assumes that everybody has facebook...
Yeah I hope Facebook gets sued by someone with the like button patent so I'm not forced to see"Like us on Facebook" On every god damn page. Why the hell do I need to Like you on ANOTHER website? What do businesses accomplish by having their shit on Facebook? You would think it be easier to collect data on their own website where they full control of the content.

It's a free advert way.
Imagine some random Kate who Likes an amazing dildo producing company, then her best friend, Kate #2 visits her profile and thinks "Hmmm, that's neat ! I must have it !", she likes it and goes to the shop buying the product made by that company.
It's just to get new potential customers.
And no, I do not have facebook or any other social crap.
I do not have problem with keeping up with my friends, neither do I have 5200 friends, where only 5 I have met in real life.

It's worse when you see it on TV.
If we didn't get the e-mail does that mean we are in?
If we didn't get the e-mail does that mean we are in?
It means your spam filter ate it, you're not signed up, or your email is bugging out.
It does not mean you're in.
Most likely means the complete opposite mr. optimistic.

I got the confirmation e-mail way back, and just tested and got it re-sent and checked my spam folders. It's gmail btw. Why didn't I get the e-mail?
Also, it would make sense for people who did not get the e-mail to be accepted. It seems that the majority received the e-mail and it comes off as a polite rejection letter.
I'm going to buy on day one. Also, I checked myself on the GWrewards thingy, and for some reason I'm level 48/50.

So fucking EXCITED.
Will only be able to get the Digital Deluxe version though. Collector's Edition seems expensive, but worth it I guess.
Fucking YES. Most certainly gonna get the Digital Deluxe.
Physical pre-order is 150$.
Huh.
Time to start saving money I suppose.
OMFG YES YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MINE MINE MINE
Also Minimum system requirements:
Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or better
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3, AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 or better
NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI Radeon™ X1800, Intel HD 3000 or better (256MB of video RAM and shader model 3.0 or better)
25 GB available HDD space
Broadband Internet connection
Keyboard and mouse
Think it's one of the few games I'd consider buying a collector's edition for. Even playing WoW since release I didn't bother with any of them.

Oh man, you need a keyboard and mouse? Who has the money for that!?
Was looking through the tooltips on the Digital Deluxe.. $20 extra for a summon, a pet and the 3 limited use items seems a bit much.. the golem banker only lasts 5 days and the chalice + tome are 1 time use..

That kinda sucks.
Still, I need to buy a mini rytlock key when people start selling them.
I hope they aren't linked to the collectors edition key.
The digital deluxe gives basically nothing I'm interested in over the normal one.
The physical one has all sorts of goodies I'd love to get my hands on as a long time GW fan, but it's 2.5x the price of the normal edition, and knowing Americans and their ability to fuck up prices in euro I'll end up paying 150€ for it.
That's basically what I have left if I save half a year's worth of left over money.
Holy shit.
Ugh, was hoping they wouldn't go for the $60 price tag other PC titles have done, but I guess that's more NCSoft's doing than Arenanet.
I'll just go for standard, never been one for elaborate bonuses.

Limited use items? Lame!
Access to all Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Events
Also I just thought about it. If the CBT starts the end of this month and pre-order starts April, they must be having more beta events in April (and you don't get access to the beta event in March if your pre-purchase for that bonus). Unless you are lucky enough to get picked for it.
i wonder how much the digital deluxe edition will cost
if its 70$ i guess that means around 45-50£ then

Considering Standard is $60, I suppose it will be at least $80.

$79.99 in the US according to massively, so I'd imagine £50-£60 in the UK. Can't seem to see where you can check the prices for anything other than the Collectors Edition. Also Collectors seems to be £130 in the UK, a bit of a rip off compared to the US price.
Collector's is looking good, though I could have lived without the figurine for a lower price. I really only want the book and art.
I think I will go for Deluxe if it's not a lot more expensive than standard.

150€ in EU as well, confirmed by the buy site.
Fuck that, A-net gave in to NCSoft and it's moneygrubbing BS, just normal edition it is for me, not paying 200$ for a game.
It's not just a game.
