It's what the entire beta has been building up to. Are you ready? (Apparently video tags don't work..) (Ok I fixed it)
No, it only has to be the video ww.youtube.com/watch?videoidnumber [editline]26th March 2012[/editline] Like so: -snip because he fixed it :)-
Gonna name my human ranger "Corin", hopefully it won't be taken. Otherwise, I'll just use "Corin the Wise", my GW1 name.
damn these guys are annoying. but yeah becoming a tree for human is kinda weird when you have Sylvari
There's no way that's not a placeholder (along with the Grenth form) since in GW1 the same skill looked like this:
After seeing the Charrzooka, I want to play a charr engineer over a human engineer. I guess David Werner won't work for a charr so it will have to be Charrcolate Rain.

Well, Melandru's avatar was indeed an Living Oak creature, so the Silvari have little say in this matter, but it being an elite for human races is silly. You got Balth, Grenth, Dwayna, so what about Lyssa? Would be cool for Mesmer wizardry. Oh well.
It's still in beta y'know.
Nevermind, the other three gods have their own respective skills (non-elite). Still, would make more sense for someone other than Mel to be the elite.
My creative mind always freezes up on the character name selection screen
"The twist is that you do have a ‘home’ server. The one that you pick for your first character is the server that you’ll be representing in the World Vs World mega-PVP stuff, and any perks that your home server has earned through WvW victories are applied to you, even if you’re playing on another server. You can transfer to another home server, but apparently that costs a bit of real money, so as to discourage casual team-stacking." hmm now the stress of picking a good home world
Piss off mate, the UK is clearly in the middle of the world, unlike your pansy ass East Coast.
Like biting into the creamy, lovely diarrhea center.
The Melandru may be a place holder. I've seen more images and models of her in Humanesque form than a tree. Even the statues of her in GW 1 are More human than tree, barely. They're also called the Human Gods

Perhaps focus on WvW so your world can be the good one
if im a ranger im defiantly going to be human, the extra dogs and treeform thing are awesome.
I usually just use my real name, although I have quite some terribly named characters in GW1. I can give you two examples; Headshot the Sniper and The Dudish Dude X D... I was running out of ideas okay. [editline]awd[/editline] Feel free to add me to your friends list, I still play every now and then.
Well my pvp monk is called monkey master X D and most of my chars are like master bowister, master axemister, master earthmaster... A friend of mine called his rit enter the name here. Thats a funny one for hom .

You'll definitely have to organise with your friends though.
The game world just looks so interesting, can't wait to just go out and explore.
Holy shit the wizard's tower from GW1 is still there, floating in the sky out in the distance.. I wonder if it'll be accessable via personal story or dynamic event? God damn is the game pretty.. And from all the commentary vids I never realised how fucking incredible the sounds are. So atmospheric..
The tower near that Galgrath quest or whatever?
Engineer looks similar to the Ritualist, think I'll play one. Oh wow, the CE is £130. I hope there's a limited/special edition too, £130 is too much for me.
https://buy.guildwars2.com/ Normal:$ 60, Digital deluxe: $80. Not sure in pounds/Euro's though.
The tower near that Galgrath quest or whatever?
Oh damn I remember that quest. I only completed it once because I hated how long it took to get there and at the time the enemies were a bit more difficult (pre-factions/nightfall skill sets). I'm pretty sure if I did it now I'd finish it in under 30 minutes.
https://buy.guildwars2.com/ Normal:$ 60, Digital deluxe: $80. Not sure in pounds/Euro's though.
British prices are £49.99, £64.99 and £129.99
Blashpemous, any idea on the Eu prices?
I'll be buying the Normal edition, All the extras just aren't worth it for me.
If only they sold the CE without the statue but I will be buying the CE anyway to support the devs. [editline]awd[/editline] If I can find a shop in the Netherlands that will let you pre-purchase it.
Blashpemous, any idea on the Eu prices?
They were like €5-10 more than the UK prices if memory serves. I'll see if I can find them.. Digital Edition: currently $59.99 - £49.99 - €55 Digital Deluxe: currently $79.99 - £64.99 - €75 Can't find the CE.
They were like €5-10 more than the UK prices if memory serves. I'll see if I can find them..
God no.
I thought the euro prices were just the $ replaced with €.
