I would say it's also psychilogical also. By paying the monthly fees, you are forced to play a game and feel slapped when they throw out an expansion and/or purchasable content. In F2P, you are given the freedom to earn items by playing or by using money. Since you have that option, you know that at any point you can buy it without feeling knocked down by a monthly fee.
It's almost like reverse psychology I guess.
That video just helped us figure out about how valuable gold is. For a level 80 WvW event, he received a gold medal and only got 1.62 silver. Obviously it might change, but it is good to know.

I think NDA has been lifted now. I'd rather not watch vids on gameplay unless you really want to. Keep the experience as fresh as possible.

TB said that just about everything is lifted, except for the cash shop. They're having tight restrictions on that. Probably because it's still a WIP.

Confirmed to be prepurchasing from Gamestop as soon as I can.
I'll be prepurchasing from Amazon because I frankly don't care for Gamestop in my town. . . I've grown a stigma from buying new from them.
If Pre-purchase boxes are available in my area of Southern Ontario, then I guess I'll pre-order it from wherever it's available.
HOPING that it isn't my Gamestop though, the people there are incredibly snobby. However, at the same time, the EB games that's within the same mall seems to have people that are laid back.

I don't really have much of a choice. My Paypal is frozen right now, but I would probably preorder somewhere else if I could. I've had pretty bad experience with Gamestop in the past.

You can still get a large portion of points in the HoM calc before getting EotN and the other parts.
