There is no release date yet. So why rush just to get the game when it becomes available for pre-purchase on April 10?

I must be a day 2 buyer. 11th of april is the first day I can physically buy it, unless I can do it online aswell. :o
I'm assuming you will be able to directly buy from the GW2 site, which is what I'm planning on doing. It gives ArenaNet a bigger piece of the pie.

The only ones available from the website are digital downloads. Standard, and Deluxe. Thus the reason they have the grayed out "Buy Now" on the other two, but no grayed out "Buy Now" button on the CE.
ArenaNet will not be allowing orders of physical copies from there website, is what I hear.

For me it's something to look forward to, having it done and not have to worry about money, just a nice feeling knowing you've already bought the game.
So I played some Old republic today.

As far as I know, ArenaNet will only be doing digital downloads, not physical copies. So no CE from them, I think. You have to get it through one of those other retailers they list on some page somewhere.
I'm thinking hard whether to pre-order the collector's edition or not...

Unfortunately I have to run to Lamestop for my CE. Not sure if I want to risk that..
Tried asking my local EBgames/Gamestop retailers about the pre-purchase box, even after explaining what it was they didn't seem to know about it.
Guess I'll have to wait for launch day. Oh well.

Aww I can't trust that list, under my country (Lithuania) they're listing "Avitela Ltd", which is sad because the only shop that I know of that is owned by them doesn't even bloody sell any games at all

Same here too, sooner or later gonna have to upgrade. ANet did say that if you can run GW1 you can run GW2, and GW1 doesn't require much.

It can even be later for all we know, that is just a filler date.
How many CE's exist? Is there a limited number of them?
