Guild Wars 2 V2: GOTY 2017 or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Arenanet - Games

Playing an Engineer too, my general focus will be on the Elixir gun and Flamethrower though, with a bit of Grenade kit for good measure, i don't expect Engineers damage to be ridiculously high anyway considering i feel they're more of a supporting role rather than a direct role anyway.

I can't decide between Warrior and Guardian. Hopefully I'll pre order it and try both in the weekends.

I'm playing the first Guild Wars in preparation of GW2. It's making the wait so much worse because when I play I can only think of how awesome GW2 will be. I'm probably going to play a Ranger (what I'm playing now in GW) but I'll likely try out all the different classes in the beta. Going to be pre-ordering the CE tomorrow. Hopefully I don't get too hammered tonight to be there when Gamestop opens tomorrow. I'd hate to get there and hear that all their CE are out. I'm hoping my worry is unwarranted though. Oh, tomorrow is the day. I'm gonna buy one of those pre-paid VISA SpendOn cards, and buy the digital deluxe edition. Still don't know what classes to play, though. It's either: Human Thief/Guardian Charr Warrior Help me out here!

Norn Warrior with a greatsword.

My Norn Warrior will probably use dual axes or greatsword. Though, if there was a two-handed axe weapon class, I'd be using that hands down.

I'm still thinking norn guardian with sword and shield.

So uhm, is the Engineer kinda like GW1's Ritualist? Cause of the turrets n shit and I've been playing alot of Ritualist lately and it's damn fun.

The engineer is nothing like ritualist...

The only thing keeping me from preordering is that nobody i know will play, and i know from experience that playing mmos without friends is total balls

Not long now! i hope they allow us to pre-purchase from midnight got work tomorrow and can't go on the site at work, not to mention the amount of traffic on the site will probably make it either crash or lag like hell.

I'll be home around 9:30, Gamestop will be closed about then. Let's see if my brother is willing to buy my CE for me, I have more than enough money mostly because of my birthday last week.

What timezone are they opening the pre-purchase stuff in?
