After reading what a mess the website was in this thread this morning, I decided to preorder at GameStop. After I did, I asked about the code for registering for the beta and the guy said "To be honest, I'm waiting on mine, too. We don't know when they're coming yet, but they should be before the next beta. We'll be giving everyone a call when we get them." I might pre-buy, but when is the beta coming out?

I ran into the same problem and I'm fairly certain it is asking for your GW2 account (which if you don't have, you need to make). Can anyone else confirm? I didn't get around to registering my key before I went to bed.

I'm just going to wait till they officially email the beta download, rather that than risk losing your account details to some phishing scumbag.

Just got a confirmation from Play.com that my order has been processed and going onto the dispatch department. I'm so excited for the first beta weekend now!

Oh man, I checked on the 2nd to ask if they were getting the pre-purchase boxes and the person at the cash didn't know what I was talking about, came back on the 7th and it was pretty much the same deal. I pretty much gave up at that point. I came back today on some fleeting chance that they'd be at my EB games and there was someone else at the cash (I believe the manager) and he said they're coming in tomorrow.
