The SSX Series - I'm gonna quadruple backflip off this cliff

Assuming no-one I know is going out tomorrow night (in which case I shall be obliged to join them) I fully intend to play this from 5pm to 3am (with breaks of course - stay healthy kids)
I got my copy today (Europe). It's amazing.
The final drop man, I lost some years of my life on that one. :v:
Is there a list of FP players yet?
Would be fun shredding some slopes with you guys!
There's no specific list as such, but people've been adding others occasionally. I'm ThisIsAntwon on PSN.
Maybe we should set up a little list - there must be a good 4-5 people that've added me on PSN and presumably some have the Xbox version too
So, everyone's loving this?
I love when you land in tricky mode and the whole ground does like a wave thing, the tricky remix along with the whole ground smash is amazing.
I haven't received mine yet.
The mail usually doesn't come til 9 am normally, BUT I'VE GOT SCHOOL.
I have it I have it!
I have to leave for my seminar at 2:45 but am tempted to play it for a bit anyway
I'm about to leave school, get home, crack open a coke vanilla and enjoy the hell out of this game.
I played for about 45 minutes and thought I was the shit until I failed to get gold on the tree course, which is like the 3rd run you do.
It's really good though, looking forward to playing it when I get back at about 5.
Saying that, I've been informed 'everyone' is going to some Ministry of Sound club night and I'm probably supposed to go with them. Dammit.

It seems I got Eddie as my pre-order bonus.
I'm okay with this.
Just picked it up, loving it so far.
Going to get a pile of classical music to use in it just to see what the remix function does to it.

PS3 or Xbox?
I need people to compete with. :v:

PS3
For the Mt. Fuji thing am I supposed to get a code or what because I can't find one in the case or find the mountain in game (I have the game preorder edition :v:).
Also Xbox people add me as a Icemaz and lets compete.

With mine I had a sheet with two codes on it, it was under Eddie's code.
also wasn't Fuji PS3 only?
Hmm odd the only code I got was for the online pass, dammit. And in the UK its for both Xbox and ps3, guess I'll have to deal with EA support and try and get my hands on a code.
Im getting the Kaori's elite DLC. My copy is arriving Tuesday.
also I'm pleased that after turning on classic controls I become instantly better at the game.
Those years of playing SSX3 continue to serve me well.
I don't understand the non-classic controls AT ALL.
But set me up with those classic controls and it's like SSX never left.
The only problem I have with the classic controls is trying to use the flying suit, probably as I have no idea what button it is.
But atleast I know now I can go down one of the tricky Patagonia courses without it.

Hold X in midair
It'd be great to know how many people play on the 360 and how many play on the PS3 so we could put on global events more easily, sooo...
Vote Agree if you use the 360
Vote Disagree if you use the PS3
Personally I use the 360 but yeah
Yeah if you haven't already, PS3 players send me a frond requost.
Also, I put in my code for Eddie and it accepted it and everything but he doesn't appear in the character selection screen. Am I missing something?

Can't I just use a flash drive?
So you can play your own custom playlist of music, but it's a right hastle on 360. To do it I had to:
1:) Make a playlist in Windows Media Player
2:) Burn that playlist to a CD
3:) Run that CD on my 360
4:) Rip the songs from 360 to the 360's hard drive
5:) Edit that into a playlist
6:) Load up SSX and select that playlist.
Annoying, but you can totally do it, and the songs sound kickin' rad when they get remixed.
Luckly with the PS3 there's a built in playlist creator, so you just put songs onto your PS3 via flash drive and make a playlist on there.
So now I'm listening to remixed Dr.Steel and MC Lars songs.
Feels good man.
I refuse to believe that is the only way you can make a custom playlist.
googled it, you can use the network sharing feature. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n32z0r_ncwQ
I am trying to figure it out but I have my system so locked down I am finding out that I have to go enable sharing services and shit that are normally on by default. Will post a simple "how to" if I can get it to work on my end.
Collecting Geotags is fun.
I got 50
I did not realize that the bulk of this game is with Explore mode. I thought it was majority the "story" mode and online, but damn there is a lot of stuff to do in explore and some of the events are down right hard.
Is this game really worth it?
It looks awesome, but I don't have much to spend
