I never played tricky but I loved 3. I had the PSP one but never really played it

In 3 once you got past Über you got to do even more rediculous moves. I just liked getting the really crazy moves after doing the regular special moves.

yeah but in ssx 1 it worked just like tricky I'm assuming they just hadn't come up with 3's system yet when they were making tricky

Also, I only played SSX Tricky and never looked at a SSX game after that. When I saw the name Psymon in the trailer, so many good memories came back! If he can still cut his torso/head with his board, it would be awesome.

I figure that this thread deserves to be bumped, as the SSX demo just came out today (at least on 360) and the full game is coming out very soon. I downloaded it and did the tutorials so far, seems to still have the crazy tricks of the older games. You only get to play as Zoe in the demo, but apparently you unlock Mac if you refer a friend. There are a couple events available, a race and a trick event. Also, if anyone else has it, what does the "Remix" option do? I tried searching but google seems to think I'm trying to search for "sex" instead of "ssx".

Okay, it's official, SSX IS FUCKING BACK! The reboot stays true to the original 3. Takes me back to my childhood.

I had 3 and fucking loved it. I remember going down the Japanese course, hitting that icy path for an easy win made my day then. EDIT: actually, i think it was the first or second, it was for PS2, i know that.

Loving the demo for the new one. Might have to pick it up.

I always loved doing the free runs when you'd start at the top of the mountain and just go down at your own pace.

Just played 2 hours on the demo :D It's really fun! I think I'm gonna buy it in fact. By the way can you unlock the other drops from the same peak aswell? I only seem to have one trick and one race drop. I can't seem to get anything better than silver medal though ;(
