I remember I always played as the French for the Grand Cannon but other than that it was a weak class. I decided to amplify it by making it a nuclear cannon firing nuclear warheads across half the map. I also made the TAC tank from Crysis. Man the editors for this game are awesome.
Does the online play work? If so , I'm expecting to be battling some of you guys.
IIRC they took the servers down.

Didn't they hand the server software over to some other guys though? I can remember logging in online roughly a year ago.

Just started installing the game again. You guys convinced me to dust off my old game collection. The nostalgia I get from those songs makes me get chills.
RA2 best game ever, almost.

RA3, worst game ever, I hate everything about it and want to die.
I remember this, I used to play it all the time when I was a lot younger.
I remember seeing a mod that had trains in it (???) and a whole bunch of new features which looked incredible but I forgot the name and I'll never know if it got released or not.

Oh god I remember all the westwood games.
Was a little kid, and I picked this weird looking packed-game-bundle that had some weird dudes on the front.
It was the Westwood pack containing Tib sun to Yuris revenge.
And that day was awesome. And the week. And the month. And the year.
I still have the pack with all the original CD's somewhere around the house :v:

Also even though I've played RA2 over a few hundred hours, I never played with mods. Time to whip out the CDs again.
I used to play RA2 and Yuri's Revenge all the time, especially on vacations where I had a laptop, where this game would not be taxing it at all. I seem to strangely like Tiberian Sun more as well, only because I played it first when I was young since after playing that for a bit I get bored.
I still remember opening up Dune 2000 when I was like 5 and going 'What do I do :v:' for about 20 minutes straight then closing it.

God fucking damnit I'm so fucking tired of CDs disappearing for fuck's sake, I saw my RA2 CDs a month or so ago and now they are completely gone.
