• How did Kleiner get your suit?
Well for a start you drop it when you lose all your weapons
That would be at the end of the Apprehension chapter, right?
Doesn't he say something like "I see your HEV suit still fit's you like a glove"? And then going on saying he's made a few modifications to his suit. Skip to 2:50 So either it's a spare that Gordon had in Black Mesa or it's some parallel universe.
And in HL1, gman says something about 'As for the hazard suit, I think you've earned it' , after taking his weapons away. It's the old suit, so again repeating the question at hand. How did kleiner get it? But more importantly, how did mingebags get KLEINER's?
When did Barney find the crowbar I never dropped?
He may have just been referring to the fact that you dropped *a* crowbar back at Black Mesa, so he's giving you a replacement.
No It's not; Kleiner says it's his suit from Black Mesa.
I see you old suit still fits like a glove. Or, at least the glove parts. Also lampshading that you can only see Gordon's hands.
HL2 Gordan isn't HL1 Gordan at all, and it turns out Dr. Kleiner was the HL1 Gordan and you're his younger clone!
The "its a dream" is about as bad a cliche plot twist you can get.
Yes, I know. It was just a retarded idea that popped into my head, and I decided to tell Facepunch about it since I have no life.
I see you old suit still fits like a glove. Or, at least the glove parts. Also lampshading that you can only see Gordon's hands.
I think it's also a reference/joke regarding the old HEV suit model, it didn't have gloves (Yes I know the view model did, but when you see it sitting there in containment, it doesn't. Mark V does have gloves on both the storage model and the viewmodel.)
G-Man should fuck off. He told us we'd get to keep the suit.
Or maybe you know, he built a new one? He's a scientist for Christ's sake, he could probably build a fucktonne of them provided he had the proper materials. Also, there may have been an extra suit at White Forest, wasn't that supposed to be some old Black Mesa compound?
Maybe it was Gina's
Gina wasn't canon
Gina wasn't canon
Explain the two empty HEV containers.
And in HL1, gman says something about 'As for the hazard suit, I think you've earned it' , after taking his weapons away. It's the old suit, so again repeating the question at hand. How did kleiner get it?
Based on that quote in particular one would assume that Gman apprehended it until the time came when Gordon's contract was "sold to the highest bidder", as many people in game offhandedly mention. Gman probably was going to give the HEV suit to the person who won his contract, and in this case it was the rebel cause (eli/kleiner). He probably then found parts or had spare parts from black mesa left to upgrade it.
Explain the two empty HEV containers.
Gordon's the only scientist at Black Mesa that works in hazardous conditions :downs: [editline]06:20PM[/editline]
http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Half-Life:_Decay
Not canon
The suit is a lie.
That suit is a spy!
You know what I'll never understand? How does a suit have zoom without a helmet?
Also, there may have been an extra suit at White Forest, wasn't that supposed to be some old Black Mesa compound?
Black Mesa Research Facility = North America White Forest Missile Base = Eastern Europe
It's simple really. The bullsquid that ate Eli's leg also tried to eat the suit. It was unsuccessful so Kleiner pick it up and fixed it.
You know what I'll never understand? How does a suit have zoom without a helmet?
It does have a helmet. I think. Oh it does, see?
You know what I'll never understand? How does a suit have zoom without a helmet?
Gordon is also inspector gadget.
While the crowbar Gordon gets throughout the game would logically be different crowbars I like to think that through some twist of time and fate Gordon manages to get the exact same crowbar that he's had since the first game.
Kliener could of atleast gave Gordon a helmet, after his was stolen in Black Mesa. I nevar heard of HL:Decay, either.
Kliener could of atleast gave Gordon a helmet, after his was stolen in Black Mesa. I nevar heard of HL:Decay, either.
He doesn't need a helmet and his suit wasn't stolen.
It does have a helmet. I think. Oh it does, see?
The why does Eli say Gordon's looks haven't changed a bit, all art of Gordon has no helmet, etc.? In HL1 there were other scientists who had suits that were killed in Xen, even if they didn't need helmets.
I like to think that through some twist of time and fate Gordon manages to get the exact same crowbar that he's had since the first game.
I think it was the same one in HL1 and HL2 (hence Barney tells you when you get the crowbar in HL2 that "you left it in Black Mesa"). But, unfortunately, it gets vaporized in the citadel so in every other episode, it is a different crowbar (although the ones in Ep1 and Ep2 could possibly be the same one but it's highly unlikely).
You have to hang on to this one. I've only got a few left.
Wait, why can Gordon breathe in space?
Because he's a total badass.
