Wait, why can Gordon breathe in space?
Because there is air on Xen. If there wasn't air on Xen, then why do the the Xenians seem to be so comfortable with Earth's air? Oh, and he has a Helmet (yeah, I went there).
He has a helmet, it's just never shown in Concept Art, nor on the player character. Reasoning: Aux Power also is used for breathing underwater.
Well, he started on the train in civilian clothes, GMan probably took his suit and put it somewhere where Kleiner would find it.
I agree, i mean, eli did manage to find that hev suit charger plate right?
Time for Capitain Obvious and Dr.Clocks Kleiner is related to Gman, you know that in the TV with that scary song you can see Gman, a crow and Kleiner in a boat.
parallel universe.
I'm not sure whether that would be cool or fucking terrible for plot
Don't you lose the suit too in the garbage collector chapter in HL1? Maybe Kleiner found that one? I don't really know, my game fucked up on that part.
Or maybe you know, he built a new one? He's a scientist for Christ's sake, he could probably build a fucktonne of them provided he had the proper materials.
Ask a NASA scientist to make a pistol out of spare parts. He won't even know where to start. What i'm saying is - It's not his field of expertise. Weird, I lost the suit for some reason.
Probably the G-Man didn't give the suit to Gordon while in stasis as he said that he "earned it". So maybe he was just lying. And the suit was lying around in Xen so some scientist picked it up. Or it was dropped off to Kleiner before Gordon went into stasis.
Guys, it really isn't that hard to figure out. It's just the upgraded model of the suit and Kleiner/Eli got out of Black Mesa with it. They managed to take other things with them like the HEV charger plate. As to why it's ready and waiting for you as soon as you reach the lab? It was hinted at OVER AND OVER throughout the WHOLE GAME and even into EP2 that the rebels bought Gordon's services from the Gman. Breen begins breaking it to Gordon near the end of HL2 until Mossman stops him. Why do you think all the rebels gave Gordon the immediate right of way, almost as if expecting him? Sure, some of them probably just did it out of long-running worship for him (they even painted lambdas on their equipment), but for the most part they all knew ahead of time that Gordon was coming to save them and that he had been bought for a specific job (take out the Citadel/kill Breen; this is why Gman steps in and removes Gordon once he blows up the trans-dimensional teleporter). SO, given that evidence, it's fairly obvious why they reserved the suit for Gordon and why they put him in it as soon as possible. Gordon was there specifically to lead the rebels. Kleiner modified the suit to be able to work with Combine technology, but it was originally taken from Black Mesa and brought with the rebellion to City 17. This is evidenced by the lambda on the suit and the fact that Kleiner has the instruction manual to it.
So those Rebels are just getting shit for free now? Fuck that! Where's MY billion space credits! >:(
Knowing that he was put in stasis to be released in another time, Gman probably somehow got it to Kleiner.
GMan gave your suit to kliener. He didn't know if Gordon would return or not, but he improved it anyway. It has been there a while anyway, which is why he blows dust off the clipboard.
actually, the real question is, in half life 2 episode 2, you have a new battery for the flashlight. episode 2 is a direct sequel to episode one, and episodes ones flashlight used AUX power. So, how did gordon get the new flashlight battery in episode 2?
Granted, everyone expecting Freeman to arrive is... Strange to say the least, but what could the rebels possibly offer Gman in return? King of entire Earth status? Alyx's ass? Better teleportation technology than the Combine seem to use? (Gman has the last one covered...)

"Our mutual fiend"
Eli and Kleiner aren't good friends to Gordon if they bought him. =/
Eli bought him.
Eeeww gman got gordon naked
Eli bought him.
Eli is the worst friend ever then.
Eli is the worst friend ever then.
How so? He freed you from Gman's grasp.
Gman put it there. For christs sake, just go with it
Eli is the worst friend ever then.
Gordon is an interdimensional hitman.

so she's not real?
In the sense of the story, she doesn't exist. Neither does Adrian Shepherd.
what the hell are you talking about? you see freeman at different times in op4 and in blue shift, if you look at the security cameras, you can see gina carrying the test subject to the chamber.
Just because Freeman in in OpFor doesn't mean it's canon, and show me a screenshot of Gina carrying the test subject.
