Nevermind I suck.
My problem seems to be either: I can't get a grip on how the weapons work, or insanely bad luck. I'm beginning to think it's just insanely bad luck, unless I'm using the weapons wrong. I had a 1v1 firefight, both of us with full health. Me: M4, crouching, firing controlled bursts. Him: AK47, running back and forth, and spraying. He won. This was at fairly long range, about half a map away. Maybe I'm trying to be too 'tactical' in a spray and pray shooter? Or I just have insanely bad luck? I don't know, but there is no way I should have lost that fight. Maybe someone here can tell me what I do wrong?
How many units is a map. I dident know "maps" were a unit of measurements.
It's okay with friends but the public servers are horrible.
There is no option for "Yes i like it" or anything like that.
CSS plays best when you play it in ways that it was not meant to be played in.
The guy who made that comment is right, it takes years to master counter strike, which is probably why casual players hate the game, i've been playing counter strike for 2 years and i still havnt mastered it, but just the other day i was playing MW2 with my little brother who plays it all the time and i owned him at it within one match. [editline]10:18AM[/editline]
It's okay with friends but the public servers are horrible.
+ true, if you play CS:S at a LAN or with friends you will see how much better it is.

Counterstrike is a game that allows players to play it and never reach a moment where they can say "I've beat this game". Unless your name is Fatality or something like that... and even then... I like it, the more you play it, the more tactics and tricks you learn. You can always improve your aim also... CS 1.6 being the ultimate bare-bone game that is pure reflexes, tactics & aim... [editline]12:31AM[/editline] Oh I meant to vote yes but then apparantly the question contains a "no" so yeah.. bullshit poll
OP should get back to playing MW2
CS: S is begining to show its age now. The gameplay is old and clunky compared to most modern shooters. It becomes the same thing every. Single. Round. Which is boring as hell, and is just mindnumbing to even watch. Playing CS: S in a public server filled with; kids, Russians, "pR0Zzz" and all the other shit that infests the game is a fucking joke. It is impossible to have a casual game for a while to change things up, unless playing in a server owned by a friend with the same want for a casual round or two. The competitive gaming "industry" (read: Joke) has ruined most of the fun in this game. Much like it has started doing to lots of other games.

I haven't voted because the poll doesn't make sense (no good non-repetitive..what?). I think you want to know if I find it boring. Yes, the original modes I do. I can't 'master' and AK47 like other 'skilled' players, that can get headshots from the other end of the map. Zombie Escape or Zombie Mod. Much better and far more interesting.
If I have a few minutes, it gives a bit of mindless fun. Hold w, set it to random weapons always, and start clicking. Lately I don't even bother playing, almost all the player counts are faked so you think you're joining a nearly full 64 slot, but instead 7 Hispanic dudes are yelling at each other.
OP should get back to playing MW2
Gift it to me on Steam
It can have real gameplay. But sometimes it doesn't.
Play ESEA for a enjoyable experience, were your games actually become intense and you play with a variety of skill levels.
Only thing that bothers me is the lighting fast reflexes of most players. [editline]05:34AM[/editline]
pub died in css a long time ago-.-.
yuo shure j00 aren't just PR00S?

I just took a better look at the "poll" and laughed. Theres technically just one answer. Nice one OP.

I think he ment the random russian that ever Server has. They just scream in Russian and bitch like hell when they die. They annoy me
