Kairosoft games (addictive simulation games in general) - Games

Ive played game dev story and dungeon village. I found that if you fell behind on technology with gamedev, it got stupidly hard to make money. and after a while got very repetative and lacked replayability dungeon village got samey too. though unlocking the cauldron and making pro weapons was a nice touch, and questing too. I prefer it to game dev atleast. in any case, the amount of hours entertainment i got for the price is great, ive paid far more for less long lasting games on major consoles

I played all of the games up to the Cruise one Are any of the new ones good (By good I mean better than old ones)

Bought Game Dev Story, and loved it. I tried out the demos for the others that are on the marketplace, and I couldn't get into them. They didn't seem nearly as fun as GDS.

I wish I had a smart phone

No matter how much I try, I always fuck up at Game Dev Story the moment the Game Swan is released and onforth. The license is way too expensive.

The Dungeon one is pretty fun! I haven't really got into any of the other ones except for GameDev, but this one is pretty kickin' rad.

Downloaded Dungeon Village this morning. Really liked it on the train. Currently sitting at work trying to find a way to be able to play it without being noticed

OP, add Pocket Clothier, Pocket Academy, Mega Mall, and World Cruise. Also, I love ALL of their games, but it's a shame most of them get boring after a little while. Only games I've finished were Grand Prix, Mega Mall, and ofcourse, Game Dev, which I finished 3 times.

I have to say, Mega Mall was REALLY fun.

Dungeon Village messed up my sleep pattern... Never touching one of these games again. Time pass like by way too fast playing this.

i bought hot Springs cause it's on 80% off sale its pretty fun too. i really want grand prix however

I loved Mega mall and got everything you could get in it, I am currently playing Grand Prix, its pretty fun!

Is there a way to get these on my Kindle Fire? I can't really put like cyano on it or anything because we have Amazon Prime and I use that for movies.

Just about to start year 3 of dungeon village. I am contniually giving all my boosting items only to two adventurers instead of sharing them out between the lot. Is this a good/stupid plan?

When I was about to go on a 16 hour bus ride, I downloaded Game Dev Story and Mega Mall Story just before we left and I played it the whole time there without getting bored. Amazing games.

I think management games like that should have multiple stages. Like in Game Dev Story, first you start making games, then consoles and then you start out becoming number 1 by defeating other game company's and buying game studio's to obtain their famous IP You can sort of already do this in Game Dev Story but after some time and you reached the latest tech is gets stale

My Mega Mall is getting there. I've got 12 floors up and three floors down. I've just gotta work on a 500k profit per month to become a 4 star mall.

Anyone know if game dev story 2 is worth it for 3 dollars? I don't know if when it becomes the full game I'll get it for free.

I love Kairosoft. Game Dev story being my favourite. World Cruise is good too.

I can tell it's from that site though as the guy they credit on their forums is also the one credited with the translation in game. Playing it, a lot of things aren't translated yet, and just show up as a series of question marks, which makes it pretty difficult to follow some things. Still playable though.

Though to be fair, I don't see how they'd really go about finding out it was you who hosted it. Afterall, we already have one version hosted elsewhere.
