Not good to generalize like that, most kids disspear quickly in favor of cod or some shit, i still play it, been playing both 1.6 and css since release.

I do that too to practice my aim, I'll take on around 30 to 34 bots and use only a pistol and another primary weapon. It's fun because you need to use headshots to conserve ammo or you're screwed.

I have 5700 hours played on TF2, without the ones I played before steam started counting hours.
But I rarely play public games. Usually it's just competitive matches or training.
