I surpass the GTA IV requirements by 2-3x and I cap at 45 fps on the highest settings. My computer might just be ready to run GTA V on the lowest settings I hope!
So, are there any good mods lately?
bigfoot mod in the works
Cod sucks
Salmon is far better.
Hopefully we'll get some new news soon.
LOLOLLOLLOL YEAH... no, stop being an ass because people enjoy a game you don't like.
Oh god.
what about endless sea everywhere but one specific place? like this: then there would be small, random (and creepy) shacks that you encounter along that endless road. maybe a trailer park, and lots of Freeways and Angels. also with a reference to a possible myth, I'd love something like that
Whatever it has, it must have the best soundtrack ever.
I hope instead of a endless ocean there's instead a large road mass with a never ending road.

Endless desert with some randomly - generated small towns would be really cool.

what about endless sea everywhere but one specific place? like this: then there would be small, random (and creepy) shacks that you encounter along that endless road. maybe a trailer park, and lots of Freeways and Angels. also with a reference to a possible myth, I'd love something like that
It's always struck me as being very strange that Rockstar, with its many talented and experienced employees and massive quantities of money, has never figured out how to do this sort of stuff yet- much less even attempted to toy around with the basic concept at the very least. I mean, they've had the endless ocean thing down since San Andreas first began development back in 2003. Now we're almost ten years down the road. Endless deserts and plains would have been especially fitting for Red Dead Redemption, regardless of whether randomly-generated small towns were included or not. Disappointingly, it never came to pass. They used cold, snowy mountains in the north and high, elongated mesas in the south, east, and west to mark the player's boundaries. After a while of playing, you really got a feeling of being shut-in, not that you were roaming the free and vast geographical landscapes of the American Southwest/Mexican Northeast as they were in the 1910s.

Honestly if they put random encounters, big open areas and deserted towns in GTA V, I'd be happy.
Michael Hunter, creator of Soviet Connection (main theme gta 4) apparently created this song, called L.S Mob which then got leaked onto deep web original cut with first trailer, fits very well extended version
Los Santos Mob ?
If they add random encounters I hope they are actually more common. In Red Dead it would take you awhile for a random encounter
If they add random encounters I hope they are actually more common. In Red Dead it would take you awhile for a random encounter
I hope they include some like in GTA IV, where you go and you can say "ey, I remember that guy!"
I hope they include some like in GTA IV, where you go and you can say "ey, I remember that guy!"
Those are more like side missions, though.
Those are more like side missions, though.
But what if they mixed them with Random Encounters? Made them not one time things?
Kinda like when you saw the guy from GTA III in GTA SA.
Side missions (aka the "friends" in GTA IV and RDR), random encounters like in RDR, endless deserts and oceans with randomly generated hills and buildings, if they included all of those, that would be fucking rad.
oh man i hope that l.s. mob song isn't the theme to gtav it just sounds like a remix of soviet connection to me
Wouldn't be GTA though. Would be a more generic... predictable game because no matter how you set up Procedural generation, it operates with preset variables. [editline]8th April 2012[/editline] It would have to be a plotless game.
oh man i hope that l.s. mob song isn't the theme to gtav it just sounds like a remix of soviet connection to me
I don't see how they are similar.
I really hope we see a 2nd GTA V trailer either on april or on may. It has been way too long since the last trailer came out.
I don't see how they are similar.
okay i might have been exaggerating calling it a remix but those stomp-clap-stomp drums make it sound way too similar to soviet connection
I really hope we see a 2nd GTA V trailer either on april or on may. It has been way too long since the last trailer came out.
I think we'll be getting something at least this month in, say, two weeks. Or in May, at the end of it. That seems like suitable times for any V info. I'm betting for at the end of May, after Max Payne 3 is first released.
yeah that l.s.mob sounds like shit I know you guys think it's cool and all, but it's ridiculously repetitive and lacks the character that soviet connection had. That down-wards arpeggio is just annoying to hear annoying over and over again, it sounds kinda nice in the second descend, but then it starts again and well yeah [editline]9th April 2012[/editline] Compare the two, seriously this has so much more character and really, is much better composed the other one sounds like something someone chucked together on fl-studio in 5 minutes (okay, bit of an exaggeration)
yeah, the themes for vice city, SA and IV had much more substance
There's always the chance that LS Mob is just a good fake.
LS mob sounds like some shit that your average 16yo FL studio rapper would make.
http://www.gamersbook.com/scene/news/grand-theft-auto-5-release-date-set-for-october-2012/ October 2012 release date! Probably

Unless you were referring to the "long version" which is just a loop of the original. Also, I doubt it is going to be the game's main theme. The original video labelled it as a "trailer music". [editline]8th April 2012[/editline]
LS mob sounds like some shit that your average 16yo FL studio rapper would make.
I guess it's gonna be just like the Portal 2 Want You Gone leak when everyone thought it was crappy and all and praised it after the release (assuming LS Mob is not a fake).
