Actually, if the Duke and Samus are out this round, their fans will flock to gordon like children to an ice cream van.

Might be due to many gamers never even hearing about Deus Ex and its sequels getting the "good but not 'game of the year' worthy" response. The Resident Evil series is a popularity bulldozer compared to Deux Ex, and that is mainly why Leon won the matchup.
