Considering that Nintendo pretty much completely ignored their fanbase (and the fans did get mad) for years when they tried to make money off of casual gamers, then got them to instantly forgive everything they did in that time by presenting them with a sequel to the dullest of the 3D Mario Platformers by far and a Wii version of New Super Mario Bros, I'd say the only company that will get affected by this at all is Valve.

Yeah, old name from years ago that I've stuck with. I still like Nintendo a bit and love their old stuff, so I can't completely abandon them.
