I was looking through the comments on a video, I was Lol'ing when people were flaming Gordon. Saying he's barely a character and how he doesn't have a personality, emotions or anything.
In relaity of course Freeman would win.
He's got Gman.
Let's seriously consider who would win in a fight:
Gordon is insanely intelligent in a fight, so he'd probably predict most of snake's movements.
Snake has lots of guns.
Gordon has lots of guns, including experimental ones and a gravity gun.
Snake throws a grenade/projectile of any kind
Freeman throws it back.
Snake shoots Freeman.
Freeman's HEV suit absorbs the impact mostly.
Freeman shoots him.
Fight over.

Gordon/Snake Fight: I don't care, both are good characters. Voted Snake due to him having a deeper storyline.
Bub & Bob VS Samus: Really? REALLY? Samus is at least a remotely interesting character.
Also Gmaster, Snake's main draw is stealth. I doubt he'd win in a head to head against Freeman. If he was hidden at the beginning of the match, I'm not sure who would win.
