Indeed. Freeman wins cause of how he innovated gaming, being just a way of connecting the player to the universe, Snake wins in all the other things, by also innovating gaming being an extremely believable character that has flaws.

More like an old weakling. Then again, this is the same site that gave every award that had MGS4 as a nominee to MGS4(the only bad one was in-game advertising, and MGS4 didn't get that award). And there are a shitload of ps3 fanfucks that can't accept Freeman as the fucking best character.
Basically, what Snake has done, Freeman has done that twice with his arms tied to his back, with glasses, and eyes closed. Hell, Freeman can kill shit with weapons found on the street, and they are mostly worse than MGS4 type weapons(they are older, but kill efficiently). This is what I think it should be:
Freeman: Has a Ph.D in Physics, and badassery in MiT, beats the shit out of anything with a crowbar, uses weapons like the MP5 and weapons found at the street to kill Combine, saved the world countless of times, blew up Striders with a grenade(Strider Buster), is an one man army, beat up his old boss back at Black Mesa, has a hot bitch that helps instead of being an idiot getting in harms way, and basically did the same things Snake has done, but Freeman did it with his arms tied to his back, and with eyeglasses.
