Hell and now developers sometimes do weird things to the split screen, have you ever played the split screen in Resident Evil 5 or COD:WAW? They horizontally squash both players screens and then split them so they are not perfectly above each other vertically, and black out the rest of the screen, even on a decently sized TV it is really glaring, and that's forgetting those who are on smaller televisions.
there's no processing power to render rest of the screen hope so at least, otherwise it's just dumbshits making dumb decisions
Console version of Nightfire was 10x better than pc ver. IDK about AUF. Anybody know the name of this 007 game on the ps1? In the first level you have to invade some snow place, then you ski down some mountain and there's some kind of a gas boss. Hope somebody knows the name. It was My favorite ps1 game
Tomorrow Never Dies?
Agent under fire on PS2 was like the game of my childhood, or a bit after my childhood, more like when I was 12-13. And Nightfire was the 4 player splitscreen game of my 12-13 childhood.
Who remembers the Samurai? :v:
Agent Under Fire in MP with the Q-claw was like spiderman with guns
Who remembers the Samurai? :v:
That was that crazy white prototype thing that fired a blue beam and you could charge it up right?
I remember playing Nightfire. It was probably one of the better FPSes I'd played in my earlier years.
Nightfire's single player kicks the ass of MANY fps games today to me. There are just so many ways to get through each level. so many paths, secrets, and gadgets. And the multiplayer was AMAZING. If they re-released it today with better graphics, and online multiplayer, i'd spend 60 bucks on it.

I played Agent Under Fire a ridiculous amount on the gamecube, but I always wanted Nightfire. Nightfire was the shit on the PS2. And I always liked The World is Not Enough more than Goldeneye on the N64.
Nightfire is one of my favorite shooters ever. I don't know why, it just appealed to me. Second favorite Bond game right ahead of From Russia With Love. Should be obvious to what number one is.
When this game first came out my brother was home from abroad and his friends and I played this all night. My first video game experience.

I would love to see a Nightfire remake though.
Everytime you did something awesome in a level the game would just scream DUN-NA-NAH-NAH and give you a 007 medal or something. Wonder if you can play it on an emulator. I have the discs just can't find my PS2.
i remember in agent under fire i would fuck about with the grappling hook in MP with bots. good times

I remember one of them had trip lasers in the multiplayer and me and my brother would always put a fuckload of them everywhere. [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] The new GoldenEye is probably the best Wii shooter. The multiplayer is reminiscent of Call of Duty, but it is a fucking disgrace to call it a GoldenEye game. I was expecting a classic facility map in splitscreen; nope. Hm, maybe I'll play as Boris; HOLY FUCK THAT IS NOT HIM AT ALL HE'S ALL SLEEK AND HAS SUNGLASSES WHAT THE FUCK. Unacceptable. [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] I mean it's a fun game and I like it, but they definitely changed too much and it is no where near being as good as the original GoldenEye [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] The archives MP level doesn't even have secret passages. :crying:
And the multiplayer was AMAZING. If they re-released it today with better graphics, and online multiplayer, i'd spend 60 bucks on it.
Actually, it did have online multiplayer on the PC version.
Nightfire was awesome.
The farthest I ever got in this was the submarine level. I remember FINALLY getting to it, but either I could never get through it or I just didn't try. It's funny, games that I saw as extremely hard back then are fucking piss easy now.
derp, they didn't use pierce brosnan this gaem suks :downs:
I prefer my James Bond games to have James Bond. Hell I would have preferred they used Dalton than this idiot.
Hey which was the one with the lasers in multiplayer?
My god and I thought everyone hated these games. Nightfire-Ski Resort Map-Rocket Launchers and Mines-Friends = A great night. I just remembered we would get on top of the gondolas and sometimes friends would plant the remote mines, jesus, they don't make em like they used to.
I prefer my James Bond games to have James Bond. Hell I would have preferred they used Dalton than this idiot.
Well if the only reason you don't like the game is because they used Craig then that's just stupid. But I have to agree, it does lose the James Bond feel a bit.
Hey which was the one with the lasers in multiplayer?
Well Agent Under Fire had laser trip mines and a cannon that shot plasma balls but I don't think it had any laser guns
Yes trip mines that is what I meant. Excellent. To eBay!
I played Nightfire on the Gamecube for an insane amount of time. It was one of the first games I got for the system, along with Super Smash Brothers Melee. Does anyone remember the stealth mission in the office? The one where you only had 20 tranquilizer darts and every guard could manage to see 10 miles ahead of them? Annoyed the hell outta me.

I loved that mission, although at the end you fought this clone of a black guy that could take like 10 darts while everyone else only needed one.
I prefer my James Bond games to have James Bond. Hell I would have preferred they used Dalton than this idiot.
How about Chris Hansen?
